My neighbor lives on SS alone. And it’s not much. He had to sell his fender acoustic last year and can’t afford another. I gave him my old resonator today. Told him not to pawn it and that it was strung left handed. He was happy. Said he would restring it and then we could pick together.

I noticed very few members here post videos of themselves playing. Billy T does and he is very good, people seem to appreciate it, but why not you?

Unless it's against the rules or you folks think it's a bad idea, I thought once a week or so I'd post a video of extremely accomplished guitarists many of you probably haven't heard of before. This one is German guitarist Peter Finger (yes, that's his real name).

If you could magically acquire the ability of any guitarist—past or present—whose ability would you take? I'm thinking we might find some awesome guitarists we're not familiar with to check out. Even if they're famous, they may not play in a genre we don't listen to. I'm leaning toward Stevie Ray Vaughn.
