New guy intro: I'm a little freaked out right now...
Hey everyone! So I'm the new guy here, and I gotta be honest - I'm equal parts inspired and anxious right now. My name is Bill Hazelton, and before I say anything else, I need to give some shoutouts to people who've already made an impact on me: @Lukas Schmidt - watching how you engage people is inspiring. You're intentional, thoughtful, purposeful, compassionate and, above all, you're just a really cool dude. It's a privilege to walk amongst such good humans like yourself. @Jack Shiller - one of my first networking/discovery calls on Skool was with Jack. He got me rethinking the just 'one thing' idea more deeply - being singular in my focus on Synthesizer - and how important that is. He didn't tell me anything, he just posed the question. Thank you for that Jack. @Brandon Smith - another one of my first discovery calls was with Brandon. The one thing that I took away from the conversation with him was 'Man, I wish I had my thinking dialed-in like he does when I was 28'. I could barely tie my shoes when I was 28. It's leaders like you Brandon that are gonna change the world. @Sam Rathling - Sam kinda freaks me out a little bit if I'm being honest. She has this activity super power which is pretty dumbfounding. I thought I did a lot, but she's got this thing where she clones herself or just doesn't sleep or I dunno, it's just something I haven't figured out. Kinda equal parts inspiration and anxiety inducing when I see all the stuff she does. I don't even know you, but mad respect to you right out of the gate Sam. @Lukas Kulbis - just been super engaged with Lukas as well. Another heavy hitter here on Synth with great insight and feedback. Yet another quality human walking the halls around here. BTW, I have no idea what a 'mycorrhizal relationship' is. I'm afraid to ask actually. @Mirtha Pena - I don't know Mirtha yet either but she's another infectious personality that's an absolute magnet. Like Sam, she kinda freaks me out a little bit with her level of energy. But clearly, Mirtha's yet another super inspiring transformational leader around here that makes it a privilege to be here with you all.

Can spirituality sit comfortably with this Game character approach to life?
I asked myself this today and the answer was immediately clear. In short, yes! In fact, it does it brilliantly! A hugely significant element of the spiritual journey can be summed up by this simple maxim... "The ego is a wonderful servant but a terrible master" The Game, gamifying life the way some of us are doing here, does exactly that. We 'use' the ego to play a fun game instead of being used by it. And couldn't it be that life is a spiritual quest? That's my perspective. Have any others in here on a spiritual journey thought about this?

@Michael Owen The gamification thing might just feed your ego differently - chasing spiritual achievements instead of money or status. Stefan's got a point about questioning the whole leveling-up approach to spirituality. Might help with building habits, but turning spiritual development into a points game could miss what you're actually trying to do. Just my .02. Great post here Mike.

@Michael Owen very well said brother. I believe that in my hear 'saying the same thing'. That falling away part that you describe really resonates with me. For me, my ego tends not to be my amigo, but properly used, it's a really powerful thing.
What do you want from this community?
So far, there is no classroom. That is on purpose. We wanted to prove to everyone that you don't need a classroom to have an engaged community. But now, we are aiming even higher. We see "The Game" as the #1 community in the relationship area. It will take time to get there, but considering we are playing the infinite game, it is just a matter of time. That makes you the founding members of one of the best communities on Skool. The best part is that you get to influence how this community evolves. Currently, we have a weekly value call on Wednesday and a Networking Challenge for the month. Based on previous conversations with all of you, I identified 3 aspects on how we can make the community even better: - Monthly Theme based on a story to highlight key personalities and understanding each other better. - Notion Quest System to keep track of our progress and see what other players are working on. - Additional networking call in the metaverse that switches every other week to make it more accessible for everyone in Asia and Australia. Instead of overwhelming you with hours of classroom material, we want to equip you with the tools and systems that make you more effective with what you are already doing. That is why we want to know: What do you want from this community?

@Lukas Schmidt I just want to be a sponge, learn and participate. Hanging out with the winners has worked really well for me in my life so that's what I'm doing here. Grateful to be here with you all.

@Lukas Schmidt simple KISS approach for me, follow the leaders and do what they do.
What Is Your Networking Spirit Animal?
Hello everyone, so happy to be in The Game among such brilliant minds! I'm passionate about art, creativity, chocolate & connection(at a very human level). Love the online game and I'm here to stay. When it comes to networking I'm actually the Sloth, I take a while to get back to DM's and e-mails but by the time I do get back, I do it with intention and heart ๐Ÿงก HOW ABOUT YOURSELF: If your networking style was an animal, which one would you be and why (maybe drop a Gif to illustrate?)

@Mirtha Pena I'm probably a golden retriever - show up excited to meet everyone, remember everyone's name, want to help however possible, but I can get distracted by the next interesting conversation. The 'squeaky toy' effect ๐Ÿ˜‰

Introducing Me
Hi my name is Cassidy, nice to meet you all I am a holistic life coach, author, speaker and transformational artist. I love using my life as a game creating the reality I love and desire. Currently I am releasing a big project of mine that I have been working on for almost 2 years now. My first empowerment song! Which I am super excited to release. I am in love with the intersection of spirituality and neuroscience integrating that into all of my work and communities that I build. I am led by my divine guidance and love helping others create magical and miracles in their life. I started this life of building something I love because after 10 years of chronic illness, a health crisis, a devastating breakup, a 15 year friendship ending and 4 of my family members dying all in the same year I had an awakening. An awakening of my personal power and divine guidance. Now that I have stepped into what I like to call vibrant health, magic, and miracles started to happen in my life and OFTEN. Stories that are many the times so outrageous they have allowed some people who do not believe in anything mystical to reconsider. I am excited to be here and learn all about you! Also I LOVE connecting people to the resources they need if you are looking for any connections at all I probably have an amazing beautiful soul to connect you in whatever area you need. Sending you lots of love!
