What are the 7 Top Secrets To Building an Engaged Community?
Yesterday, I met up with Goose and Evelyn and a bunch of other Skoolers at the Oktoberfest. Before we hosted a mastermind in Munich to discuss highly engaged communities. We didnโ€™t just cover the core 3 essentials of every community, but also the 3 most important traits for every community owner. In the video below, I synthesized everything into actionable tasks and included a 7th which helps you grow your community on autopilot. Next week we are going to cover how we got the star. Huge shoutout to @Sofiya Pierce again for coming up with the strategy. Add it to your calendar here. What do you think are the top 7 secrets? Find out by watching the video below.

@Sam Rathling I did call you out during the live call, but the recording wasn't ideal, so you won't be able to see it on the video. Still appreciate your effort, and you did have a few that I did not mention. Especially onboarding is key to create a positive experience for new members.

Hello legends of The Game โค๏ธโ€๐Ÿ”ฅ
I don't think I properly introduced myself when I joined the group... You can call me Mickey - when people say Michael I don't realise they're talking to me. I'm from Yorkshire, England and am about to move to Florida. Currently going through US immigration process. I'm a Dad to my 2-year-old son Charlie who is a little legend, and a husband to my beautiful soulmate, co-creator, and wife - Emma. My jam is the psycho-spiritual realm and exploring consciousness in a variety of ways. Emma and I have a very clear and awesome life plan and you're all becoming part of its success ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿผ I love interesting and deep conversations with deep and interesting people. I'm all in on Skool, Synthesizer, my own community, and now The Game. I've noticed some of my favourite Skoolers are in here so that says one thing... Quality. Connection. Fun. I'm here to go all in with you all. Let's fly together. ๐Ÿš€ Thank you @Lukas Schmidt for the invite and for the nudge to get involved. I appreciate you mate โœŠ๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ

The Game of Giving... What else would you add?
I have been networking since I was age 5. My Dad was a bank manager and we moved around a lot! When you are the new kid in school over and over, you learn very quickly how to turn strangers into friends. So I learnt fast! Six schools later, and by the age of 18, I found myself easily able to do this (embarrassing early school pics attached!). From my perspective, 'The Game' in its simplest form is simply about turning strangers into friends. I've been networking in business for over 20 years. When I first met @Lukas Schmidt it was like finding the mirror of me. He has a deep understanding of community, relationships, and connections. So I am grateful to be here, in this community, and to have already learned so much from him. I am sure that many of you have already formed great friendships with people here on Skool who were once complete strangers, with an online profile. As you read through this post, be sure to tag your friends and show some appreciation below. Maybe share a story about how you met or how you have been able to help each other since you connected. The truth is, I was pretty lonely before I found Skool at the end of August this year. Sure, I know a LOT of people. I am very well connected, but true friends? Not so many by choice. I have some close friends, but a few completely disappeared when I was diagnosed with breast cancer in October 2023. I found myself having to hibernate away from the world to avoid getting sick, with a compromised immune system. What used to be my playground (a room full of people networking) gave me anxiety, and I fell out of love with the one thing I used to adore. It's only now that I am finally rediscovering networking, as I emerge from my health cocoon. Skool has reignited my passion for building relationships. I've met some amazing humans here. What I have experienced is that the best relationships are formed by helping and giving to others. So with that in mind, I thought I would put together a few ways in which I have been able to give and support others over the years; they may help you too...

@Lukas Kulbis Especially excited about you doing some retreats. @Sam Rathling is building up quite the community in Portugal and I know a few more people there who are super interested in more in person networking events.

@Sam Rathling got a friend who is going to Portugal for 3 months so will probably visit him throughout that time. Maybe the times align ๐Ÿ™
What's your favorite GIF?
Before Skool, I thought GIFs were pretty silly. And they were, but with Skool, I've realized that I like to be part of the fun. What's your favorite GIF and why?
