Top 3 Growing Tips
Hello Microgreen Enthusiasts! Today, I’m thrilled to share three essential tips that every microgreen grower should master. Whether you're just starting out or refining your techniques, these insights will help ensure your microgreens thrive. Top 3 Microgreen Growing Tips: Perfect Your Watering Technique: Microgreens require consistent moisture but cannot tolerate being waterlogged. Remember- Underwatering can be corrected much more easily than overwatering. Optimize Your Growing Medium: The right growing medium is crucial. We recommend Coco Loco—it’s the best of both worlds, blending coconut coir with other key nutrients, providing excellent moisture retention and airflow, ideal for robust root development. Ensure Adequate Lighting: Proper lighting is essential for healthy growth. We use Barrina Pinkish LED lights—either one T8 or two T5s. These lights provide a full spectrum of light needed by microgreens with a bit of the pinkish tone without needing protective eyewear Plus energy savings without overheating like traditional fluorescent or halogen lighting. Are you ready to dive deeper into the world of microgreens? These tips are just the beginning!
