Hey, This week’s new fingerstyle exercise is ready, and we’re going back to arpeggios… but with a slightly different feel. These 7 arpeggios all have a more dreamy, atmospheric sound, created by using chord variations like maj7, m7, sus2, and sus4. Don’t worry if those sound complicated — in most cases, it just means taking a finger off or adding one to a chord shape you already know. Small changes, but they make a big difference to the overall sound. Hey everyone, this week’s new fingerstyle exercise is ready for you. This week we’re diving into lead fingerstyle blues. If you’ve never tried it before, it’s a really fun style to play, and you can join in no matter your level. Inside, you’ll find 5 blues lead licks (short guitar phrases), and each one comes in 3 levels: Level 1 - Play the lick on its own Level 2 - Add a simple open string bass Level 3 - Play it with a fuller bassline This step-by-step approach makes it easy to build up gradually, and it’s a great way to improve the coordination between your thumb and fingers. Hey everyone, I’m back! I’ve got some new materials for you this week. Tab of the week: Simple Man – Lynyrd Skynyrd You’ll find the PDFs and Guitar Pro files for both the full and easy versions in the Classroom tab under “Tab of the Week”. I’ve also added a new practice tip to help you get more out of your practice time. It’s something most players don’t do, but when you start using it you’ll notice much faster progress.
