OH, THE RESPONSIBILITY OF IT ALL
Hi all. I'm having an interesting issue with creating content, maybe some of you have too. My videos are all on the fly and they relatively suck because of that (ok cringe fest, lol). I know this and have been ok with it because I'm just parking on YT for now until I'm "ready" to get more serious about it. And somehow got 190 subs up to this point, no engagement though. So I realize I've been procrastinating because the process of writing scripts, editing, doing all the things to optimize views/reach, and setting up my filming environment takes COMMITMENT. With commitment comes responsibility. And in my personal life I've been overloaded with stressful demands-sick parents, mother with dementia who lives and hour away in memory care and I have to drive there a lot, my own business plus a part time job, all while trying to deal with some fibromyalgia/CFS symptoms. But the irony is that I know a prosperous YT platform would alleviate a lot of my stress, which is financial. So catch 22. I'm just coming to terms with this. I know that I have the ability to produce content that's effective, I just also know for me there's a learning curve that will take time, and well, commitment. I'd love to hear from anyone who has crossed this impasse in their own content creation journey. Any words of wisdom or inspiration would be so lovely right about now! Blessings all! Theresa 😊🙏

YouTube audiences don't expect a professional edit, as long as it's valuable or interesting to them, they will watch. Production value does add a lot to the perceived value of the content you produce though. You could use AI to make edits pretty easily these days or higher an editor. I made some courses the other day and cut out all my 'pregnant pauses' and 'ummmm's. Which helped a ton with the quality of the video. I know a guy who records and does no editing but he will do 15 takes to get it right before posting.
Youtube upload settings: Allow Video & Audio Remixing? Yes or No?
What do you do when you upload a long form video or a Short? Do you check "Allow Remixing?" Why or Why Not? Thanks for your thoughts on this!

I leave it on and I look for other people who leave it on so I can remix their content and add my own commentary. I also use that functionality to create shorts out of my own content sometimes. I remixed one of my JV partners content to help them get more traffic through shorts too. It worked great.
Two people with the same message, word for word
I had two messages from this group, that were word for word the exact same. They said they do YouTube automations... but then I interacted with it and it is clearly a terribly done bot.
