For the Female goalkeepers wanting to maybe get a college scholarship, one of my friends has sent me this once in a lifetime opportunity. "Harvard University is seeking a female goalkeeper to join their team starting August 2026. International experience is preferred, and top-tier academics are essential." I have just asked for more info - like age of keeper etc... let me know if this interests you and soon as i get more info - i will let you know.

@Stuart Masterson this 100% could have been avoided and I do wonder if the ref had a word earlier if she would have followed through on the tackle? basically wasnāt warned and in my opinion it was obvious she was hassling the keeper from the get go. Emilyās not one to shy away or be intimidated by these players - sheās even had stud marks on her neck from a high foot!! If sheād had leggings on (which she hates wearing) they would have potentially protected her leg from the scratches - no doubt ripping the leggings but the impact bruising and swelling would have been the same. The life of a GK parent is hardā¦.

Sometimes the tape (a bit like spines) makes them feel more confident after an injury. Iāve learnt it makes a difference on the type of tape but again itās a minefield. Ems fractured her finger and has had ligament damage too - she doesnāt like the tape as she finds it restrictive but wears a splint when not playing if itās bugging her a bit. Would love to know more about tapes, to tape or not to tape and indeed how to tape effectively.
