Ascension Sales: Solve Rich People Problems
This is how i went from averaging $5k cash collected on sales calls, to closing my first $20k PIF. I've been doing sales for over 8 years now, selling everything from door to door, to high ticket coaching (previously a closer) But on last weeks sales call, I closed a $20,000 cash up-front paid-in-full sale plus a 20% performance fee and I didn't have to sell him. It was honestly the easiest sales call of my life. It just felt effortless. So I'm going to break down the components that led to this sale being one of the biggest deals I've ever closed in my life, and how to repeat the process again and again in the future to make sales like this effortless. And there's one theme that I found that makes sales effortless - it's this: - Solve rich people problems. The client that I talked to last week makes over $400,000 per year. His biggest problem was that he doesn't have enough time because he works 60+ hours a week. For this type of customer, it's not about making them more money or a higher ROI. It was all about getting the time and effort cost down to zero. Just to give you some context, this client is already an algo trader. Like he has his own portfolio of trading algorithms that are automated. But the maintenance of upkeep for that software costs him 5 hours per week. My product has about the same result that he's already able to do. But the difference is I took all of that time and effort that he's doing right now and I am boiling it down to zero. Saving 5 hours a week for 52 weeks doesn't sound like a lot, but this client makes $400k+ per year. 100 hours of his time is worth $25K a year. I was able to raise my price, by simply changing who I help. Instead of what I do. If I were to save 5 hours a week for someone who worked at a coffee shop, they might not pay more than $50 for that. But because of who this person is, because his time is more valuable, he doesn't want to spend that doing the maintenance. And basically what my product or service solves is it takes care of that for him, saving him the time and stress of having to manage that thing himself. Even though it might not give him better results that him doing it himself.

@Kevin Gong Honestly, my goal is to build a business that funds my freedom and lets me create epic experiences for spiritually awakening moms... not just online, but in person. I'm building a coaching + community Skool called YOU, but Sparklyโ„ข, and I see it evolving into done-with-you group coaching programs, merch, retreats, and eventually a giant feminine entrepreneurship conference.

If I had to start over on Skool, I'd do this:
1. Have 1 pinned post w/ CTA to book a call 2. Have 1 free classroom w/ lead magnet $999 3. Unlock lead magnet on call for FREE 4. Spend 2 hours a day replying to every post/comment. 5. Remaining time on generating traffic This is how we made $152k in 90 days and placed 8th in the 100. Storytime: When I first created my Skool that we grew to 7k+ members I built out a huge classroom. 9 tiles, each one with many different folders and pages inside. Daily Q&A calendars...it too complex. No one even looked at it. It doesn't matter how valuable the content is, if no one consumes it. But in my client delivery group with only 75 members, my pinned post had over 1000 comments. I used it as my "tech support" thread, and replied fast in the comments which trained members to use it. Seems like 90% of people only look pinned posts. Its the 1st thing they see when they join, and also when open up your Skool in the future. Kinda like how a copywriter focuses 90% of his effort on writing the hook. The classroom, calendar, links are all super useful for collecting payment and delivery. But your pinned post is your highest leverage point in Skool. PS. Unlock $999 for $1 on the call and you get a card on file for seamless close (no objection of โ€œi forgot my cardโ€)
