Making a commitment: inviting more people to our skool
Was inspired by @Gerardo Patino - Iโ€™ll be making a commitment: DMing 10 people on other School communities that are men to invite them to our meditation men, Community This is something Iโ€™ve never done before. But Iโ€™m open to. I think that people are already on Skool would bring a lot of value to our Community. I just wanted to make a commitment here, so Iโ€™ll get some public accountability This is us: Skool.com/meditationmen

My life has been changed!
Friends, I want to share a breakthrough I had during VIP day. First my background: I've been a meditation teacher for 10 years now full time. I trained in the mountains of China for 10 years. My background is in Chan (Chinese Zen) Zen (Japanese Zen) and Tibetan Methods of meditation. In my time in China it was split between the mountains and coming into the cities to share with Fortune 500 companies what I learned. In 4 years in Shanghai we build online communities of thousands and I grew a name for myself as a well known meditation teacher in China. Then it was time to come home, to share what I had learned in the US... I moved to Austin 5 years ago and spent 4 years of that time training other meditation teachers in social entrepreneurship and leadership. I realized, my true calling is teaching meditation - which is something I've always done. I started a nonprofit called MeditationCommunity.org to bring more in person meditation sessions to the people of Austin Texas, and hopefully more than that in time... In 15 months we've gathered 700 in person members. In order to help more people, I started The Daily Meditation Community: skool.com/meditate It's been pretty successful but it hasn't caught fire and scaled in the way that I imagined it would. I learned a lot though.... One huge thing, is that 80% of my attendees are men. @Veronica White kindly pointed this out to me while I was sitting next to her during VIP day and she saw as clear as day that this would be a much better niche for me (teaching men meditation). I'm kind of a large guy, train jiujitsu, kick-boxing, and can be a little intense (passionate :)) Long story short, she inspired me to create Meditation Men, which is a free community for men to come together at 12pm during the week to meditate (mostly in silence) and share what's on our mind afterwords. (Also picked up MeditationMen.org - It's insane how many good domains are still available)

What have you done since this past weekend?
Inspired by @Kevin Gong making everyone say an action step out loud that they will implement after parting ways from the event, I thought I'd keep that accountability going! Get something done this week and share it here! Make it real! Let's go! ๐Ÿ‘‡
