🍦 July Challenge: Make Your Ice Cream Bowl! 🍦
This month, I want you to make yourself an ice cream bowl. Not just any bowl, but your ice cream bowl.🍨 Create something that feels like you. Experiment. Play with your favorite colors, textures, or decorations. Try something you have always wanted to try. Make it bold, playful, elegant, or weird. Whatever reflects your personality.✨ And make it so unmistakably yours that it practically shouts, “Hands off! This one belongs to me!” 😄 I want you to open your cupboard and instantly know that this is not just another bowl. It is your special bowl, the one you always reach for when it is time for ice cream.🍧 I cannot wait to see what you create. Have fun, be creative, and do not forget to share your bowl with the community!🫶

Low fire… 1st for me
Finally glazing my terracotta. Tips welcome! Don’t these look like donuts? 😆 I have two low fire glazes. Of course I have stroke & coat, Jungle Gems and underglazes 👍🏻

Great!!! Very nice. I love it. I had my trouble with glazing the terracotta clay because of many pinholes. Now I have another controller of the kiln and I can do slow cool program and this problem disappeared. But I am also not using the terracotta clay anymore. Many glazes turned out to dark for my taste.

@Kay Chandler I like the color too - also of the fired piece. Maybe my problems with pinholes have been related to the firing schedule and I blame the clay by mistake. Please tell my your experiences. Maybe I will give it another try. 😀

Well done!!!!! Really fantastic. What a wonderful piece!
3rd sculpture
This evening, I finished my third sculpture. I didn’t have the right kind of clay, so I used what I had. The grog was too heavy. But I still think it turned out OK. It is only 5 1/2 inches tall, or 14 cm.
