The Gate Opened on 8/8. Today, We Reclaim. Four days ago, the Lion’s Gate cracked something open. I know it did for me. After our 8/8 ceremony, I was exhausted, emotional, scattered, and confronted by anger and frustration I almost never allow myself to feel. Underneath all of it was one question: Who am I becoming, and what can no longer come with me? Whatever surfaced for you over the last few days, pay attention. Today brings a total solar eclipse and New Moon in Leo. In astrology, Leo speaks to the heart, creativity, courage, self-expression, and our willingness to be seen. And because this eclipse falls on the South Node side of the Leo-Aquarius axis, I’m especially interested in what we are ready to stop carrying. The old role. The smaller identity. The version of ourselves built to survive something we no longer live inside. So today, I want us to do something together. The Reclamation Declaration Take out a piece of paper. At the top, write: I RECLAIM Then name what you are taking back. Your voice. Your creativity. Your body. Your desire. Your confidence. Your time. Your authority. Your joy. Your right to be seen. Your right to create the life that is yours. Be specific. Then underneath it, write: I AM Now declare who you are because you have reclaimed it. I RECLAIM my voice. I AM a woman who speaks. I RECLAIM my creativity. I AM a creator. I RECLAIM my authority. I AM sovereign. I RECLAIM the parts of myself I made smaller for other people. I AM visible. Not someday. Not when you feel ready. Now. Decorate the page. Paint it. Write all over it. Make it yours. Then put it somewhere you will see it every day. And here is the important part: 📝Post a photo of your declaration page below. Or write your two statements directly in the comments: I RECLAIM ________. I AM ________. I want this entire thread filled with women naming what they are taking back and declaring who they are now. Because there is power in writing it. There is power in saying it out loud.

What a powerful Lion’s Gate practice. I’m still processing what opened for me. Over the weekend I kept coming back to this idea that perhaps we are being asked to learn how to walk in both worlds. Can we remain completely human, with our bodies, relationships, fears, memories and messy emotions, while also allowing the deeper Soul self to lead? Can we look back at experiences that hurt us and still find the places where love existed? Can we hold compassion for another person without denying what happened to us? Can we hold the old self and the woman we are becoming at the same time? That is what Thecla suddenly means to me. She awakens. She sees the conditioning she has been living inside. She begins listening to something deeper than the expectations around her. And then the lioness recognizes her. I keep wondering: Am I Thecla? Are we all Thecla at some point in our awakening? The more I’ve prepared for tomorrow’s Soul Voice Activation, the more excited I am about this one. If the past week or so has felt heavy, reflective, emotional, or like old stories have suddenly come back around for another look, there may be a reason. We are moving through a period that astrologers associate with reflection, release, and seeing familiar things from a new perspective. And I’ve been feeling that personally. I’ve been thinking a lot about the way we label people and experiences as “good” or “bad,” especially when we’ve been hurt. Sometimes healing asks us to see more of the story. To remember that something painful may also have contained love. That someone who hurt us may also have been acting from their own wounds. That a difficult experience may have changed us in ways we now value. Understanding doesn’t mean excusing. Compassion doesn’t mean reopening a door. It can simply mean we are finally able to hold the whole story without being trapped inside the wound. And that is such a powerful place to enter tomorrow’s 8/8 Lion’s Gate. The Lion’s Gate is associated with courage, visibility, sovereignty, power, abundance, and manifestation. So tomorrow we’re going to work with both sides of that threshold: What am I ready to release? and What am I ready to create now? And our guide is going to be Thecla. If you don’t know her story yet, you are in for something incredible. Thecla was an early Christian woman who refused the life that had been chosen for her. She was eventually thrown into an arena with wild animals. A lioness was released toward her. And instead of attacking Thecla, the lioness ran to her, lay at her feet, and became her protector. I cannot stop thinking about this image. Thecla did not tame the lioness. The lioness recognized her. Tomorrow we are going to meet our own lioness. The part of us that carries instinct, boundaries, anger, creativity, authority, desire, discernment, and the courage to choose differently.
