I took Friday off because of the black tie event, It was good. I will say a big thing about showing face. it is needed. Like fully. Sipping Mcallen 12... Made me think. If this is how a global 20 company acts, funded by blackrock. how can I make my business successful. The big one is cashflow, if you have enough cashflow to make mistakes, you will be ok. As the cashflow will settle the issues pretty fast. So if you struggle with cashflow, sell long term products at a discount or access to something for free that you know is valuable and you will unlock cashflow. If it is digital products, it is easy the thing that is 6 months long is now free for 4 months with 2 months upfront cash. Recruitment? Literally cut market average in half and secure that within the contract you are guaranteed another round of interview candidates. What i did with Ferrari and Aston. I could go on and on. The biggest momentum is going to be cash flow. Once you have healthy upfront cash establish what market you are. Stop cutting the cost of the market ( you will suffer at first ) but actually have something that has a price mark that you know people would pay for because you are solving a problem. If you know how to network, find candidates, build products, know how to communicate. Congratulations majority of business owners don't and lack something. I am creating a list of 10 most important skills a business owner needs. You must perfect 5, be great at 2 and be average and still get away with 3... What would you say are non negotiable must skills sets?

The more the days go on the more of an outlook I have for my own business moving forward. You have well 1) dragon den cast members being exposed for fraud and taking to court for running shady debt companies. Everyone wants to be an entrepreneur but not actually understand what it means or takes respectively. They just like the title and the photos. Reality is your unemployed. 2) The more I stay in a corporate job the more I understand the game of relationships. I actually really don't like people so I need to try 2x for the social mask. Round about me is a dysfunctional system due to very poor communication, bad hires and short ego's. If you want your business to grow, yes personalities matter because you can teach anyone the skill. Issue is, does the person teaching the skill know how to teach. Sometimes the comfy superstar smashing targets is the worst. The one who can consistently show up, have processes and the people skills is who you want. I will be honest. I feel exposed. New industry, new market, new relationships. I feel and I mean this, unsafe with job security which is ok. I am a fighter. I know I can do anything. I built a business... twice and sold twice... I have ran 2 50ks, ran 100k, ran over 300 miles in a single month. Your mind is the weapon that will always get you through. I do enjoy what I do and the biggest lesson goes further than the paycheck. It's the relationships, the skills through organic marketing / paid marketing, understanding churn and how to have high retention, how to build trust within the team that goes down to the details of who and what you are, the communication style and more. It takes the mindset to see past what you hate now but gain later. I have a black Tie event tomorrow. I will get one up Mid day. I hope this helps anyone struggling today that it's the future you care about. Confidence is built by exhausting mental efforts and resources to still get the job done. Over the last 2 weeks it feels like, the penny just wasn't dropping. Did i sell put my business to fail at being in corporate like wtf?? surly it would be easier right? No Being your own boss and controlling the environment is what you are told you can do. However if your budget is less that 20k a year good luck on hiring cause you will take what you can get, Same with taking on clients you hate. That is a problem. Since joining my 9/5 company. I have went a step forward to introduce myself to everyone. I mean everyone I can, show interest in what they do. Why because when you need something last second they will remember you as someone who cared when they expressed what they love. Intro's fucking matter. Booking in time with people you don't know or talk to matters. Booking in meeting with clients you hate matters and if you don't like them, get rid of them or force yourself to connect. Just do it. This will hold you back the biggest. I have had good news on all front. 13K has been sent out for payment promised. likely comes in now due to start date on policy tomorrow. I have the 23k now payment approved now just creating a vendor sheet, 66k policy we will give 10% on to make it Jan 31st start, and if any push back we will give an additional health and wellbeing module free as a extra. So it will be between 46k and 53k. Family of 5 - that will be a 30k ish still at quote but booking a teams meeting to answer questions and close them there and then. Overall over 100k in the pipeline and over 40k closed for the month. Late nights are needed, the less friction you give the easier it is the next day to do reactive because you did 3/4 pro active activities.

What a bloody day... From 8 onwards, nonstop applications, quote requests, email loops and updates on medical info, Currently the biggest positives is that through volume, I am learning so much. You have Europe, America and Uk getting done by myself. Heavy on Europe and America right now. I am telling you right now. Speed and timing is everything. Yes being there at the right time but availability. How you craft an email goes a long way, especially for convenience for a potential client and client. The main focus of what got me through today was doing. Stick to the task and complete, move the folder to the right one and next task. The main takeaway from today is movement even if it feels like you are on a hill.
