Email Campaigns & Sequences
Anyone here have experience with Wealthbox and integrating an Email Sequence Tool like Active Campaign? Or, is anyone using Slant CRM that can speak to email automation? I really hate the limitations with WB and would love an all-in-one CRM that can handle prospect marketing that isn't a huge undertaking like moving to Salesforce or Hubspot.

We used to use ActiveCampaign and I think I used to have Zapier add all new WB contacts tagged with "Lead" to ActiveCampaign, then I ran the marketing emails from there. We also added Leads straight to AC so that we didn't bloat WB with people we might not ever use. Good luck.
Hubly
Does anyone use Hubly that uses Wealthbox as a CRM? If so, what are the pros and cons you've experienced with it so far?

We added Hubly to our WealthBox CRM about 2 years ago and love it! I tried and tried to utilize the workflows on WB, but they are not intuitive like the Hubly workflows. We have a team of 10. When we signed on with Hubly they asked me what I wanted out of Hubly and what the owner of our firm wanted out of it. I wanted accountability, and the owner wanted to sleep well at night knowing that as we scaled, nothing was slipping through the cracks. We are both pleased. We can easily pinpoint bottlenecks and poor training. it is pricey, but the way I look at it is I can add more people or have the employees we already have work more efficiently; the cost of another salary is more than Hubly.
Wealthbox Workflows - Any Superusers?
I’m trying to systematize our operations and build workflows for repeatable tasks. I started with the easier service tasks but I’m still struggling to understand the best workflow structure in Wealthbox (i.e., the logic behind how workflows should actually be used). Take a simple example: mailing a check. I’m with LPL, so most checks can be mobile deposited, but occasionally we still have off-platform rollovers, 529 contributions, etc. You’d think this would be straightforward to document. My biggest frustration is the need to use both notes and workflows to accomplish one simple process. What I’m trying to accomplish: Document the “why” behind the money movement — when it was discussed, when the movement should occur, recommendation rationale, etc. Example workflow: Receive check→ Confirm receipt with client if mailed to office→ Document receipt via note→ Prepare mailing and record in check log→ Mail check and record tracking #→ Confirm deposit with custodian→ Send confirmation to client In that process we typically contact the client twice (receipt + confirmation), and I’m trying to maintain a record of why the transaction occurred (rollover, contribution, recommendation date, etc.). The issue: - Workflow comments don’t show up in Wealthbox reports - Replies to notes don’t appear in reports either - The client feed gets cluttered with workflow subtasks - Meanwhile the actual narrative of what happened gets fragmented across tasks and notes So I end up maintaining both notes and workflows, which feels redundant and messy. For those who have really dialed in Wealthbox: What’s the best practice for structuring workflows vs notes so you preserve the narrative while still using workflows as checklists?

I struggled with the Wealthbox workflows for a long time and knew this was needed to scale our firm. I tried everything and then found Hubly. It is software that sits on top of Wealthbox and pulls information from Wealthbox into its software. We love it! Easy to use, very intuitive to build, and our firm now runs on all the workflows we have in Hubly. The workflows come back across to Wealthbox, and they are entered in the client stream as a note. It is not cheap, but we had several things we wanted to solve. The owner of the firm wanted a SWAN moment (sleep well at night), making sure nothing got missed and that the client experience was the same every time. As VP Operations, I wanted accountability. I was tired of hearing, "Oh, I thought you did that." Hubly timestamps everything, sends reminders and keeps us all on the same track. Hope this helps, the Wealthbox workflows are less than desirable.
DocuSign Alternatives?
Has anyone successfully migrated away from DocuSign? Who are you using?

We have stayed with DocuSign because of the custodians and because it is easier to have one document signing tool for the clients. I would jump ship in a minute if we could do everything in one place, the DocuSign fees are crazy and you really never know what your yearly fee will be because it is based on envelopes and not seats.
PreciseFP Forms
Hi Operators! Wanted to see if there were any other PreciseFP users in this crowd. We recently adopted it and have set a new client onboarding template - gathering all their details about employment, assets, liabilities, goals, family, etc. It's quite thorough (and long!). We also set up a template for our annual update, so that existing clients can confirm their details, and also tell us about anything new/send new statements for financial planning. What else are y'all using it for? There are plenty of options in their library, just not sure where to start and what will really be practical. For example, for our practice, estate planning would be better suited in a conversation than a form. Would love to hear how you are using the tool the most!

We have been using PreciseFP for many years now and we love it. We use this for many documents. 1. we do client onboarding with our Client Profile, 2. we also use it for risk tolerance for planning purposes, 3. we use it for our Client Service Agreement, this lets us deliver the ADV and privacy policy at the end of the document signing 4. we use it for annual reviews like you mentioned (crm update info and major life changes) 5. we use it as a form on our website and in the past. 6. we have used it for life insurance information gathering. I find the form easy to build, they have great client service and I love that it integrates with WealthBox. Good luck using it.
