I am a professional mountain guide and I own a backpacking business taking people through mountains all over the world and it has dawned on me that this platform (specifically Goose) would be a great place to find digital nomads to come on these trips as a "digital detox" or just explore mountains and nature alongside with me. Anybody have any tips on how to make this happen? Or if the idea needs tweaking. My "marketing" strategy has mainly consisted of sending personal messages to friends and family, but building a community here is appealing because the reach is so broad. About 4 months ago, I made a post in Goosify touching on a brand new free community that I started! So this is going to be a 4 month update on how things are rolling! I started with 0 members, and a youtube of about 200 subscribers in the specific niche. Now, here in February 2026, We're at 396 members, and 920 subscribers on that niche community!!
