📢 LME NAVI: Weekly Onboarding & Support Meetup | June 20, 2025
Hi everyone! We’re meeting again this Friday for our regular NAVI session -- a weekly space to connect, stay motivated, and NAVIgate the course together. What to expect: 🌟 Welcome, PIRF FRESH members! @Jake China, @Yannis Yan, @MeiFang Qiu, @Solomon Haimanot, @Abdulrahman Mohammed, @Cui Max, @Vanessa V, @以翔 张, @Yoojin Choi, @Aaron Zhu, @FengLing Wei, @Lanpi Xinxin, @Rita Guo, @Miyo G, @EungSoon Park, @Lucy Zhang, @Eric Weng, @Isara Panklay, @Tiny Conviction, and anyone else I may have missed -- don’t be shy. This is a safe space to meet fellow English learners and practice together. You’re more than welcome to just stop by and say hi. I’ll help with common questions like: - “How do I start?” - “I’m not sure how to access the classes.” - “How do I send my recording?” Don’t worry -- we’ll go through it together. 😸 Did you know American animals speak English too? Well... kinda. Maybe it’s time to teach your cat some American Animal English -- who knows, they might make new friends from the US, enjoy Tom & Jerry without subtitles, climb the career ladder, or even star in a Hollywood movie like Leonardo DiCatrio 🐾🎬 This week, let’s learn how American English captures these sounds -- barking dogs to quacking ducks -- and explore some onomatopoeic words (aka: the sounds animals make). What language does your pet speak?
