Dear Friend, I write to you as I wipe the tears from my eyes; remembering the times we laughed, the times we wept, and the times we sat in silence. But our minds were not silent in these moments, as our souls brazenly wondered through the ether of such bright and colorful dreams. Ambitions we shared of the future. Of the times we were to yet have, the moments we were hoping to live. So as I carry onwards through day and night, I feel as if there should be no end to this fight. For we found this way together, so damned exciting. Yet I always drift, either under the stars or clouded light, for these times I find myself alone, to be in absolute awe of what we were able to share. A grandeur of spectacles to absorb into my being, bringing me such much appreciation for what we had shared. Through it all, you and I found true meaning to the word life. For life is best spent pursuing those dreams, together. Yours Forever, I just finished watching the movie “1917” by Sam Mendes. And it’s quite the powerful movie. Not only that it was shot in 2 shots, but the story carries so much power and fervor. And my eyes are filled with tears as I had written this message. “Yes, I will.” is a line delivered by Will Schofield to a personal carrier truck of other privates, who told him his path to complete his mission was not possible. That he should stray from his intended mission. Even though he lost a dear friend along the way, the mission was still alive and necessary to complete. He was to save a many others, regardless of losing his mate. To carry on, even with heavy heart. And it bears a mighty weight on my being, knowing that we do not live forever. That I cannot carry on this mission forever. But WE, can. And we must. “Through Fire we walk, with Fire in heart!” -Adam “Nergal” Darksi.
