I’ve always wanted to actually learn SOLIDWORKS the right way not just random tutorials but with real structure, guidance, and people who get it. Already dove into the first few lessons, and wow… things are finally starting to click. If you’re a beginner too what was the first thing that made you feel like “yes, I’m finally getting it”? Let’s build toget her 💥

For me it clicked when I started seeing many possibilities of implementing the same design. Then it all clicked. I started moving on the way anything I saw I started having design tree in my mind
Thoughts on my new part?
Hello everyone, I made a new part based on some CAD drawings. The idea behind this was to practice making a part exactly as desired by a "pretend customer". This is actually one of the first parts I've made on SolidWorks! Lmk if you like it or have any suggestions :)
Thoughts on my new part?

The design looks ok as all design might look, without knowledge of the actual design. It will be best understood/evaluated when the intended sketch is posted along side. Do well to include that so as to get a progress response
From 1.1.5 - Query - Boss/Base
What is the meaning of Boss and Base in all the features Extruded Boss/Base, Revolved Boss/Base, Swept Bose/Base, Loft Boss/Base, Boundary Boss/Base?

From my understanding. base in the general context of 3D design is the first solid feature in any part, it serves as a foundation on which other feature can be added/performed. while a boss is the feature that creates the base of a part. - The extruded boss feature the base is performed by adding materials(EXTRUDING) perpendicular to the sketch plane. - The Revolved boss feature the base is performed by adding materials to a sketch about an axis of rotation defined by the designer. - The Swept boss feature the base is performed by adding materials to a sketch about a define path drawn on a plane perpendicular to the sketch. this path can be in contact with sketch or not but it best if it does pierce the sketch at one point. - The Loft boss feature the base is performed by adding materials to a sketch define on a plane to another sketch on another plane, the final body depend on the two sketches which define the end point condition. the final solid body can also be make to vary with respect to the two end condition(define by the sketch on both planes) by using guide line. - The boundary boss feature similar to loft in material adding(extrusion) but its more flexible than loft in some application and also it doesn't have guide control that loft does. both loft and boundary can be used in some case interchangeably but they are not thesame.
Did you use Solidworks before this course
Did you do something on Solidworks or first interaction with the program Can you share with us for imagination ?https://www.instagram.com/bassidizayn/p/C7HMWkcMgzn/?img_index=1 i draw this in solidworks if i can find the solid data i will share them also

Yes, for a while now but mostly solid body features. when i started facing difficulties, i tried using surfaces, still new but its kind of great and simpler for certain model still trying to grasp some concept so i can get into molds, which is one of my specific objective.
