@Mary Margaret Conley I would really like to read that! I didn't plan on showing them. When culling and keeping; I'm keeping a close eye on growth rates, depth, hips and health. I've been really lucky and all of my rabbits to date have excellent health, and I've not had any issues. Minus one cull that had only one kidney, Super random. Those that are not 5lbs at 8 weeks are on my cull list. I have a paper that I've been writing to help me track everything. I believe the meat breeder I bought my two does from bread Vienna into the lines, and purchased a Vienna marked New Zealand doe (her statement). She was very open about it. She said they were New Zealands but to me it didn't matter. It allowed me to expand on projects for myself. I figured as long as I'm keeping back healthy, good standard rabbits for my needs, I can play with the outcome. When you say do a lot of damage, what do you mean?

@Mary Margaret Conley With all that being said, would you be willing to prove the wrong with the Breveren background? I did end up with a black buck that had dense glossy coat. It is beautiful, he has a great temperament. I'd like to be proven wrong, with better information. Which is why I'm here. LOL I can send you a video of the black buck that I have. I did just get a blue kit last week. I won't know if it has gray eyes until next week. I've done little research on the Brevern, but I feel I'm going to go down the preverbal rabbit hole to learn more.
