I'm so sorry this has taken a minute..
Part of why the nutrition modules stalled for a bit… I broke my headset, so editing basically came to a halt. Good news though, I finally got a replacement. I just finished recording the fats and energy module, and I’m planning to knock out a few more tonight. After that, I’ll be moving on to finishing the audio for the last two classes so we can wrap this section up. If you’ve already picked up the course and gone through the scripts or the Google Classroom material, I’d really appreciate feedback. That helps me tighten things up before everything is fully finalized. I do have study guides planned for each module, I was just holding off until the videos were done so everything lines up cleanly. After that, the plan is to convert everything into proper slide decks inside Google Classroom. Once this course is fully up, I already have the genetics course roughly mapped out… so that’s the next big build.

At this point, ask questions. I’ll answer them. We’ve got some new members looking into the Senita project, so if you’re curious about that line, goals, selection, or how we’re running it, now’s a good time to dig in. We’re also gearing up for New Zealand Nationals this weekend, so the barn’s been in full prep mode getting animals, conditioning, and logistics squared away. On top of that, it’s deep spring clean season here. Cages are getting pulled, extra equipment is being sold off, and everything we’re keeping is getting repaired, reworked, or repositioned. The whole barn layout is about to shift as we reorganize for efficiency and upcoming litters. What are you all working toward right now? Any shows you’re excited about or planning to attend?

Long week ..
Hopefully getting back to regular posting this week. Sorry for the short hiatus, I got pulled into overnight shifts, but I’ve got this weekend and part of next week off so I can finally sit down and start building out the beginning of the genetics course properly. I’ll also be adding more material into the premium section, with open discussion threads for the whole group so we can actually dig into things instead of just posting at each other. I did end up missing Harlequin Nationals this weekend. Had two buyers back out on cage purchases without saying a word, which killed my timeline and the funds I needed to make the trip. That one stung a bit. On the upside, we’ve got more babies on the ground. Martha Washington kindled late last night. She had a rough start getting things moving, but she built an excellent nest and pulled through it. I’m planning to post a bit of real-world insight on helping does through difficult kindlings, because that first stage can go sideways fast if you don’t recognize what’s happening. I’ll get photos of her and the litter up when I’m home. Please post any questions in the.group . This works best when everyone is participating..
