So I was in the city later than usual because there were several going away celebrations for people leaving next week. Sitting on a train waiting to pull out a young man, maybe half my age, walks by and says “I like your pocket square, Sir”. It caught me off guard but also made me grateful for this community that has reinvigorated my efforts to dress with intentionality.

I’m heading out for some errands. Since it’s still in the mid-80s, the fall fabrics and layering need to wait another month or so here. Simple and cool with a cotton oxford, stretch denim, and some double monks. Any recommendations to improve? Thank you in advance!

Sorry I have been MIA. Started a new job as CFO for a healthcare company so spending a lot of time at the office getting up to speed.

Getting some rain and a return of humidity. Today is also the day I meet with my boss’s boss who will become my boss for an unspecified amount of time next week after my boss retires at the end of the fiscal year.
