It might sound odd to you, but hear me out, our physical world is not the cause, it's the result. What we have in our hearts gets reflected in our “seen world”. We limit our own experiences, we are chained by our own beliefs, doubt, guilt, fear, overthinking and ego… اِنَّ اللّٰهَ لَا يُغَيِّرُ مَا بِقَوۡمٍ حَتّٰى يُغَيِّرُوۡا مَا بِاَنۡفُسِهِمۡ​ؕ Indeed, Allah would never change a people’s state ˹of favour˺ until they change their own state ˹of faith˺ (13:11) When we change the climate of our hearts, we begin to harvest its changes… Let’s start treating our heart as the first domino rather than the last. As when we do so, reality will reorganize itself to catch up with our “inner state”

Let’s take a step back and gain some perspective. I recently read something in a book that made me rethink how we approach goals: Weekly goals are often more effective than daily checklists. They help with accountability and keeping you on track. But in addition to that, we need to zoom out and set clear, long-term directions. Let’s imagine, it’s Sunday morning, and you’ve already planned out your goals for the entire week. You know exactly what needs to be done. Now, each day, you don’t have to figure out what to focus on. The plan is already set, and it’s time to get to work. Now, imagine it’s Wednesday. You sit down to work, grab your tracker, and look at your daily journal. You review what you accomplished yesterday and ask yourself, Will I meet my weekly goal? Once you know where you stand, you can confidently move forward and tackle today’s tasks.
