Hey everyone, We're hosting a brand new, free 3-day event next week called Mixing with Channel Strips. It starts Monday Dec 15th at 10am Eastern (earlier than usual). I'll be mixing a song from start to finish, using only channel strips. This is a great way to force yourself to focus on core principles, while also keeping things simple and adding analog character. Hello everyone! I’m new here and new to audio production. I’m currently learning sound design, mixing, and mastering. Hope I’m welcome!

Just completed Music Production 101 Mastering. My first attempt at Mastering Music. With the training provided it went well. I felt that it sounded better than any other attempts at Mastering. Overall, I feel I had a good success. If anyone is just starting this maybe we could compare notes and how you felt about the course. I still need to purchase a camera for my computer. Any suggestions? Also, any suggestion on a good pair of headphones? I was looking at the VSX from slate but was unsure if that is what a beginner really needs. Happy Mixing all.
