I really respect the reverse engineer approach mastering first makes total sense, especially if you want the final product to translate across different platforms. Loudness is definitely one of those concepts people underestimate until they’re in the trenches with it. And true mastering is far from easy. Getting something clean, loud, and musical without destroying the dynamics takes real skill. Glad you’re getting clarity from the course, sounds like it suits your workflow really well
