Autobiography of a Yogi
Zach recommended this book to me and I love it. Autobiography of a Yogi by Paramahansa Yogananda. Here are my reflections on spirituality, somatic practice & the modern world. Most people are searching for peace in the external world… Better relationships More money More external validation Being chosen Being loved, being popular. Going viral even But what if the real work and the real results come from within? What if our internal world reflects our outer world. After reading Autobiography of a Yogi, my experience of somatic practice & spiritual practice marries beautifully. Because your nervous system is the gateway to your spiritual experience. You can’t access deep clarity, intuition, or connection when your body is in survival mode. This is why so many people struggle with: – Overthinking – Emotional triggers – Feeling disconnected in relationships It’s not a mindset problem. Its a safety problem. When your body feels safe: ✨ Your mind quiets ✨ Your heart opens ✨ Your energy flows And from that place… everything changes. This is where true alignment lives. Not in forcing, chasing, or controlling life —But in regulating your system so you can actually RECEIVE it. Daily practices like meditation, breathwork, and stillness aren’t just “spiritual tools”… They are how you come back home to yourself. And from there, life starts meeting you differently. Curious to know what helps YOU feel safe in your body right now? Tx

I have it in my cart to buy, but I spent a bunch of money this month in preparation for my wedding (that was on Tuesday). I plan on getting it asap, because I hear nothing but good about it. @Jonathan Manbode the best book you've ever read? Sold! lol
Truth Week!!
This week we are focusing on living in TRUTH Truthfulness (satya) is the 2nd external action (yamas) -- "when one is firmly established in Truthfulness, then all actions and their results become subservient." (Yoga Sutras of Patanjali). The Truth will set you free, but the Truth can be painful to look at. Usually we act unconsciously from untruth (delusions and ego) making us slaves to our actions and their consequences. However, when you choose to be established in Truth then you become free from unconscious actions, free from delusion, and free from the idea of a separate self. Each day this week observe a Truth about your life without attachment. The Truth is always right in front of you, you just have to choose to see it. What Truth are facing right now? Can you observe this Truth with detachment?

@Anthony Faulhaber Absolutely Bro! I just got married on Tuesday and in my ceremony, there was a part where I said, love is the hope that everything will unify and flourish. And my wife and I have discussed how that involves both of us being honest about what we want and need so that we can be on the same page and work toward the common goals. Right along a similar path as what you are talking about in your relationship. Keep working on it and the two of you will unify and flourish!

To Pluck a Flower
“To pluck a flower means to take possession of it, and it also means to kill it.” ― Anthony Bloom, Beginning to Pray A very poetic explanation of our nature to overstep our boundary as the observer.
