Staying Focused to Pass the Michigan Real Estate Exam — Looking for Tips & Accountability
Hey everyone! 👋 I’m currently preparing for the Michigan real estate exam and could use some advice, structure, and maybe even a little accountability. I’ve already completed the 40-hour pre-licensing course and it’s been a while since I’ve took it, so now I’m in the self-study phase — and that’s where I’m hitting some roadblocks. My biggest challenge right now is staying focused and creating a consistent study routine. Between work and everyday distractions, I find myself struggling to lock in and truly absorb the material. Here’s what I’m currently doing: - Using PrepAgent, Quizlet, and the PSI book - Mixing in flashcards and practice questions - Studying in short blocks, but it’s hard to stay on track My goals over the next few weeks: ✅ Create and stick to a realistic study schedule ✅ Improve my focus during study sessions ✅ Take and pass the exam on the first try If anyone has tips on how they stayed focused, organized their study time, or handled the exam anxiety — I’d really appreciate hearing about it. Also open to finding a study partner or group if anyone’s interested. Thanks in advance — wishing all of you success on your journey too! — Jasjeet Singh

I like what you’re currently doing. I’m pulling some tips from you! Removing distractions and getting into deep study mode in the morning has been helpful. Sending you a dm.

@Timothy Whitman thanks Tim! ABC
I listed a house today for $2.
Yup. Two bucks. MLS wouldn’t let me list it at $1 (I tried), so we went with $2. So far… - 40,000+ views - 25+ people remade a video clowning me on social media - 7 showings booked - 1 solid lead we're talking to tonight Now compare that to the last 6 months: - 0 offers - 0 leads - 3,000 views total How’d I do? Sometimes you gotta get a little weird to get attention. But once you’ve got it, the goal is to convert it. Curious to see where this goes. If it ends in a sale, I’ll break it all down. If not, I’ll own that too. Either way, attention is the name of the game right now. Let me know what you think — genius or gimmick? Go out there and be weird

I Quit My Job…
When I quit my 9-5, I was terrified. We had bills. We had a mortgage. The timing couldn’t have been worse at least that’s what fear told me. But deep down, I knew something had to change. I was building someone else’s dream, while sacrificing time with my own family. I remember thinking: “What if this doesn’t work?” “What if I let my family down?” But here's the twist… That fear became my fuel. I wasn’t just doing this for me, I was doing this for them. Now I work from home. I’m present for every milestone. Diaper changes. Nap time. Late-night feedings. I’m not just building a business, I’m being a mom. If you're a new parent thinking about starting something for yourself… I won’t lie, it’s scary. But if you’ve got the grit and the vision? It might just be the best thing you ever do. 👇 Parents: what was your biggest fear when starting out? Let’s talk about it.

Rooting for you!! I got kids and another on the way. My biggest fear is I’m in the same spot 6 months from now. Solution is auditing my schedule and being intentional. Also, communication with my wife and having a shared vision has been key.
