New Brunswick, Canada - married 8 years, 3 boys (5y, 3y, 10mo). We live in a house with 9 people and 6 dogs (my in-laws- his mom and dad and their dog, his aunt and uncle and their two dogs, our family and our three dogs). We live on a campground (3 years and counting) - open May-October. During that time my husband works on the campground and I’m a SAHM - I occasionally work on campground in the store but not too much to interfere with the maintenance that my husband does. I consider it my ‘brain break’. Winter months my husband has time to write most days while I’m the default parent. We’re struggling and I don’t know how to bring it up without him getting defensive. We don’t seem to make much headway and I don’t get any time ‘off’ usually. I don’t even know where to start.
