@Jen Dolan I’m the same type. I love the plain bread the most.

This everything bagel bread is always the softest and tbh I don't understand why🤣 I mean it have a theory but I haven't tested it This is literally just an artisan loaf that's covered in everything bagel seasoning after shaping! And it's divinneeee My theory is the layer of everything bagel seasoning creates a coating on the skin of the dough and traps heat, so the dough ferments a bit better in the fridge🤷🏻‍♀️ maybe someone here has another theory or explanation lol But man she's delicious 😋

Starter Feeding Cues - 3/4 Coffee Hour Chat Thread☕️
Are You Feeding on a Schedule… or Feeding on Behavior? Since we're building starters at the table this months let's talk about feeding cues! Maybe you've had a starter for a while and you have it's feeding schedule nailed. If so, tell us about your beginning journey surrounding feeds and how you knew (or thought🤣) it was ready for a feed. If you're completely new to this journey, listen up!! I'm going to explain a few feedings cues! In your starters few days of life-building, there won't be many "cues" per say. Just stick to the schedule in the welcome rise course! Make sure your consistency is thick but stirrable! You won't see too much action in the first few days! But you can note that if you see it get runny or develop some liquid (hooch) on top, it's not dead!! It's just hungry! That cue is the same for established starters! Now that we have that quick briefing lol. Let's talk about it💬👇🏼

@Candi Brown-McGriff Yeah, I did it, too. Feeding stuck to the schedule at the beginning. Now, I keep the small amount in the fridge, and feed when I need it. It depends on the recipe call for. Anyway, I try not to let it rest in the fridge too long. Sometimes, I feed it just want to keep it strong. Use the discard for quick snack. You will feel more confident when your starter is stable.
