Post 2:Mental Health⚠ Trigger Warning: Sensitive Topics
Let me say this first
This is not for you to feel bad for me.....I don’t feel bad for myself. This is for you to be encouraged. Because the truth is
Life did not hand me the easiest start. I remember having a mother who was sick
Me and my sister just going from house to house. I remember being touched inappropriately. I remember losing my mom at 8 years old. I remember being placed in situations that no child should ever have to navigate. By 13
I was in a sexual relationship with a family member that lasted for years. I’ve had an abortion. I know what it feels like to be on the street trying to make money just to feed my child. I know what it feels like to have a father for your child that doesn’t want to be there. I know what it feels like to think you finally figured love out
only to realize you married a narcissist. I know pain!!!Not the surface kind. The kind that sits in your chest. The kind that rewires how you think. The kind that follows you into adulthood. So when I talk about mental health
I’m not talking from a book. I’m talking from experience. But here’s the part that matters.I had a choice. Not just as a parent
But as a person. I could stay in the place life tried to leave me in
Or I could rise. And that’s the part people don’t always talk about. Yes, feel it!!! Yes, acknowledge it!!! But do NOT stay there. Because you are not just what happened to you. The Word says in 1 John 4:4: “Greater is He that is in me, than he that is in the world.” In Romans 8:37: “We are more than conquerors
” In Isaiah 54:17: “No weapon formed against you shall prosper
” In 2 Corinthians 5:17: “If anyone is in Christ, they are a new creation
” In Philippians 4:13: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” So yeah
I went through it. I had to get it out the mud. And if you don’t know what that means
it means starting from nothing, figuring life out the hard way, surviving things that should’ve broken you, and STILL finding a way to stand And here’s what I learned:

Pray this out loud over your Kids Right before you walk out
Yes🧡 out loud. Even if they look at you like you’ve lost your mind. Father God, I cover my child this morning in the name of Jesus. I pray that You guide their mind, their attitude, and their actions today. Remove any spirit of rebellion, disobedience, or confusion. Replace it with peace, respect, self-control, and wisdom. Let them be teachable. Let them be calm. Let them make good decisions even when I’m not around. Protect them, lead them, and keep them. And Lord, help me to parent them with patience, clarity, and authority today. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”

In Jesus name amen !
Tomorrow we’re going deeper.
We’re going to talk about consequences for disrespect . Real consequences. Age-appropriate. Consistent. I want to make sure I cover every stage of parenting, not just one group. So help me out. How old is your child? I want to make sure no age group gets skipped.

Morning Prayer On Disrespect
Father God, We come before You with open hearts this morning. Show us the root of what we’re seeing in our homes. If there is rebellion, disrespect, or defiance in our children
give us the wisdom to see beyond the behavior and understand what’s really going on. And Lord, help us to be honest with ourselves. Show us where we may have played a part. The moments we led out of emotion instead of wisdom. The times we were inconsistent. The times we allowed things we should have corrected. The times our reactions may have taught our children the wrong way to respond. Not to shame us
but to grow us. Help us not to parent from anger, frustration, or control. Teach us how to lead with clarity, consistency, and authority. Give us discernment to know when something is immaturity
and when it is rebellion that needs to be corrected. And when we do correct our children, let it come from a place of love, not emotion. We don’t want to just fix behavior
We want to raise children who understand respect, self-control, and truth. Strengthen us where we’ve been weak. Correct us where we’ve been off. And remind us that we are not just raising children
We are shaping the next generation. In Jesus’ name, Amen. If this prayer is for you today, comment: “Lord, show me the root.”
