Workout Guide
Hi Everyone! Two things I hear often is "how do I build muscle or get toned?" and "how much protein do I need to get toned?" It's really quite simple. You need to work the muscles to build strength and tone and you need to eat enough nourishing food daily that has glucose and amino acids. You can provide your muscles with all the aminos acids and glucose needed to get toned, but if you're not actively working the muscle nothing will happen. Fruits are one of the best foods to support our muscles both in fueling a workout and in recovery. So it's easy to take the first step: eat more fruit. The next may be more difficult: be more active and lift more weights. You don't have to be lifting crazy heavy weights. What's your nickname? Geli!!! My actual name is Angelica however all my friends and family call me geli (pronounced like jelly) ;)- Where you from? Pennsylvania!! Favorite meal? Oh boy! If we’re talking fruits, then a bowl of super ripe papaya, mangos, and blueberries mixed together. If we’re talkin cooked then chopped up baked Japanese sweet taters with avocado on top and some chopped onions and heirloom tomatoes and seasonings. Sounds weird but it’s my favorite cooked meal! Kinda like mini avo toasts! Favorite fruit? How could I choose!!! I love papaya when it’s a good ripe one, but tropical fruit wise I LOVE canistel and Mamey sapote. I just wish I could get ahold of them up here! Oh and I also LOVE COCONUTS! What do you want immediate help with inside of this community? I want to learn how to thrive off this lifestyle. I love this way of eating however still experience some bloating here and there and haven’t found the right balance of working out and eating in a way that works for me fully where I always feel good about myself and my body!
