I talked about something I wish I had more time to explain during consultations, so it's nice to have the chance to sound it out here. Arthritis - it affects 4 out of 5 dogs. Yup. You heard that right. And the treatment/management of it, well there's no ONE approach. There are a number of things that can be done, all at the same time. How can we help our dogs? Something I LOVE about living here in the UK is the dog life. It's everywhere. I live in the countryside, a farmy-area called the Cotswolds. Downsides here are the lack of the great things offered in cities: diversity, international food, bands and live music, things always going on... But the trade-off is worth it for us right now. And part of the trade-off is the dog culture. They're just a part of what we do when we go out & about. In the summertime we make sure we bring their water bowl so they have a drink while we have a coffee. In the wintertime we wipe their feet before they saddle up to the open fire in the corner of the pub. I love it. I also get why people wouldn't want dogs around. The wrong dog in the wrong place is a bad combo. So I'm wondering, where you're from... are dogs allowed in restaurants, bars and shops? Would you like that, or does that make you feel uneasy?

Watch yesterday’s Easter Egg Hunt! 🐰🐣 Playing “FIND IT” with your dog is a great way to stimulate their brain and tire them out! This can be done inside on a rainy day or level up and play outside with more challenging smells around! Step 1 : 🔴 Show your dog their favourite toy or smelly treat Step 2: 🔴 Tell them to “stay” or put them in their crate/room Step 3: 🔴 Hide the toy or treat (start easy and progress to more challenging hiding places) Step 4: 🔴 Let your dog out and say “find it” (they might need some help the first couple of times you play until they understand the game. Make sure to praise your dog when they “find it” and create excitement! And finally, have fun! Post in the comments below and tell us what you hid for your dog!
