Reflecting on “Goals”
Many years ago when I was very ill with cancer I was gifted a perpetual flip calendar based on the New York Times bestseller “Ask and It Is Given” by Esther & Jerry Hicks. I’ve kept it and regularly update to the date. Today seems particularly meaningful especially after listening to Jon Kabat-Zinn speak on awareness, breath and mindfulness. Whenever I’ve been asked about goals I’ve sensed a resistance and resonate much more with “achieving the vibration of allowing…” Each of us is the visionary in creating our lives and here is where the Inner Development Guide makes such a meaningful contribution. If you have the time to sit with this, we’d love to hear your thoughts too.
Reflecting on “Goals”

Thank you for sharing, Nadene. This resonates deeply with me. I built my career in IT by scaling my tech company from 3 to 300 people in just six years, largely inspired by the principles described in Ask and It Is Given by Esther & Jerry Hicks. I genuinely enjoyed manifesting both business and life goals. What I eventually realized, though, is that nothing truly shifted until I learned how to consciously raise and align my personal vibration with what I was trying to achieve. While the book beautifully describes the state, I couldn’t find a clear, practical recipe for how to consistently access it. Only after learning and practicing specific techniques for alignment did I begin to truly “play in the field” the way the book describes—and that’s when things started to move with much more ease and precision. Interestingly enough, just last night I facilitated a workshop focused exactly on these techniques. A great share—thank you for this reflection.
Andrija Bednarik - brief introduction :)
Hello dear friends, 🤗 I’d love to briefly introduce myself, as recommended by @Nadene Canning A friend from the IDG Summit, @Etrit Shkreli , encouraged me to join this community, and I’m truly grateful for the invitation. I already see many familiar names and faces from past IDG events, which feels wonderful. The reason I engage so deeply with the IDG movement is simple: I’m most passionate about empowering people to master the “game of life” and realize their full potential. I genuinely believe that supporting people on their inner development journey — helping them become more conscious, self-aware, and aligned — has a profound impact on creating a sustainable world. Fully awake individuals don’t make short-sighted decisions that prioritize quick wins over long-term wellbeing for humanity and the planet. By background, I’m an IT engineer and a long-time enthusiast of blockchain and AI technologies. I’m currently studying sustainable financial systems and macroeconomics, and I’m focused on projects that merge these domains with inner development. Throughout my career, I’ve helped build and scale companies and participated in the creation of dozens of startup products. I’ve co-founded four startups so far, including HTEC Group, which today brings together more than 2,300 engineers worldwide. I value clear and efficient communication, so much so that I’ve developed two innovative communication frameworks: Non-Linear Chat and Conclusion-Driven Communication. In different contexts I also step into roles as a speaker, coach, and mentor — all with the intention of helping people grow from the inside out. Looking forward to connecting, learning, and co-creating meaningful impact with all of you ✨

We’re setting the table for something different. My friend Avital and I have been craving real connection, and we’re hearing from our friends, family and colleagues that they are too. The kind that doesn’t live on screens, doesn’t need small talk, and doesn’t ask you to wear a mask. 💫 That’s why we’re inviting people everywhere to host a dinner that nourishes the body, mind, and soul. To laugh, learn, and lean into the kind of conversations that remind us that we’re all works in progress and we’re not alone. 💞 Introducing The Table Turners! Register as a HOST to join a global network of intimate dinners happening on Sunday March 8, 2026 (International Women’s Day), where curious and courageous women (and allies) gather around real tables to explore what it means to lead, love, and live fully. You don’t need to be a facilitator, just a great human who loves bringing people together. We’ll provide a Host Kit with conversation themes, rituals, and playlists, and you bring the magic. Whether your table seats six in a city flat, twelve in a farmhouse kitchen, or ten at a rooftop restaurant under the stars, your table could be one of hundreds turning the tide toward deeper connection. 🌏 Interested in hosting a Table Turners dinner? 💫 Complete this form to join the first wave of hosts across Prague, Amsterdam, New York London, Frankfurt and beyond. We'll be in touch in January for an information session! Let’s rewrite what’s on the menu of leadership one dinner, one story, one laugh at a time.
