Courses Updates and Summer Sale Ending Soon!
Hey everyone, here are some course updates we were working on. Cinematic Music by Ariel Yznardo Ariel finalized all videos and the final mix of his beautiful track "The Dream Titan". New videos are following soon! 👉 Unlock Cinematic Music directly here in the classroom Trailer Music Trailblazers II All in all, eight out of twelve tracks are fully available now, four to go - then the price will increase from $147 to $247. This is probably the only course out there focusing on an entire released trailer album with the first placements happening FOUR days after release! I have already a few special videos planned but the main part (releasing all videos for all twelve courses) is almost done. I estimate the price increase will happen in the beginning of the next week. No extended sale or exceptions. 👉 Unlock Trailer Music Trailblazers II directly here in the classroom As always, if you are part of my Audio Artist Rise Program, you get access to all courses (except guest courses) for free as long as you stay subscribed. If you are interested, you can check it out here. 👉 What is Audio Artist Rise?

A first test with Google Veo 3 and my music
Hey everyone, just thought this was something worth sharing. I used one of my tracks "Fiery Wings" from my latest Epic Score Album and gave Google Veo 3 a test ride and created a little AI movie. I am aware that there are still some inconsistencies going but if you consider how it looked a few years ago, I am floored. This will be absolutely exciting for building video footage for your demo reel!

Cool!
Cinematic Music Course Update . . . And life in general update.
Hey beautiful artists. Just wanted to give you all an update about the progress of CMC. I know new videos haven't been uploaded for quite some time so I just thought I would briefly let you know a bit about why. Since last video was uploaded, I moved to a new country, got married, and am in the process of buying gear for conditioning the new studio for proper sound quality since right now, it's mostly an empty room with my computer and several boxes (hey, at least I get a sweet reverb impulse response haha). So thanks everyone for your patience. I hope the course has, so far, provided you with all the basics and more to improve the quality of your music. And by all means, I'm available on DM here and can listen to your tracks and reply with feedback as well as answering any questions you may have.

Sleeper Tracks
…we all probably have them sitting on our hard drive somewhere. Maybe 40-70 seconds of a good idea that just couldn’t reach the 2’00”-ish mark whether it was the day or the idea, but still sounds completed. Or something that started as a sketch and sounds good but just doesn’t sit with the rest of what we might be doing currently or have catalogued. What are your strategies for these? Do you hang onto them to work into something at just the right moment? Or does it make sense to use these instances as releases on non-exclusive platforms (like Tunecore or something) if they’re completed and useable, but not necessarily destined to be pitched anywhere? Delete them and forget they ever existed and allow the idea to re-manifest appropriately (this kind of sounds like extreme composition!!! 😂😂😂)?

Oh yes, I'm right there with you. I've collected lots of ideas/fragments over the years and never finished them. I'm hoping that when I retire next year, I might be able to turn some of it into a complete track. 😉
Build and build and build...
Hi everyone, when it comes to creating Trailer Music or Epic Music, I love the tension and excitement they bring. Composing this type of music often requires layering techniques, such as adding more strings or brass to build intensity. I'm curious—what methods have you used when you want the track arrangement to grow?

Hi Mingse, here is my contribution. After completing Alex's trailer course, I started with a simple idea: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eIFZ6lihBoc&ab_channel=LordOfBellfire The synth arpeggio became the string ostinato, chords, bass and percussions. Then I added more layers and built the structure. Reduced for the intro and built up massively for the end. This is the result: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K5T9HWgrEm8&ab_channel=LordOfBellfire Best regards :-)
