Ambiguous Grief
What a humbling honor to be featured and quoted by The Mirror as an expert on ambiguous grief in relation to the Savannah Guthrie case. To be trusted to speak into something this complex—where the pain lives in the uncertainty, the unanswered, the unfinished—means more than I can fully put into words. My hope is that this sheds light for those navigating the confusion and weight of not having clear answers, and offers even a small sense of understanding in the middle of something so brutal. https://www.themirror.com/entertainment/savannah-guthrie-ambiguous-loss-grief-1764507

Great message! This goes for my everyday life as well. I know I’ve gotten really clear on who has access to me from day to day.Especially since the loss of my youngest son Dalton.Who I choose to be around and who I share things with has looked very different over the years.

@Toni Filipone Dalton took after his momma had the biggest heart ever and would do anything for anyone in need. He lite up a room with his presence and smile. He was a leader in high school playing football all 4 years of school. Which lead him to a scholarship to Helena Montana. He had many gifts one being very artistic and very athletic he loved music and wrote music. He had the biggest personality and was never afraid to voice his opinions. He wore his heart on his sleeve and was deeply devoted to his family. His older brother Josh and him had a bond like no other brothers I’ve ever seen before. 6 years apart in age so even with that they always had such a special relationship.
