Discussion Post: Eclipse Season Reflections
This is a discussion post for the Fireside Gathering article. You can find it in the Classroom under The Fireside Gathering to read the full piece before sharing your reflections. Eclipse season always has a way of stirring things up… shadows rise, endings surface, new paths start demanding attention. For some, it feels heavy and exhausting… for others, it cracks something open that was long overdue. I’m curious—how is this eclipse season moving through your life right now? Do you feel the weight of it in your body, your emotions, your dreams? Or do you notice it more in the practical shifts—relationships, routines, boundaries being tested? Take a moment to reflect and share… how do eclipses affect you? What patterns or lessons are you seeing? And how are you working with the energy this season brings?

I cleansed and rewarded and did some other spell work. My darkest shadow emerged. I faced it and went deep into it to understand it better.

🌙 A Card for the Path 🌙 Today, I pulled The Six of Swords. Traditionally, this card speaks of transitions, journeys, and leaving behind difficulty. It often shows movement away from stormy waters into calmer seas, suggesting that healing and progress come not from staying stuck, but from choosing to move forward—even if the destination is not fully clear yet. But here’s the deeper current I feel within it: For me, the Six of Swords carries the song “Row, Row, Row Your Boat” as its heartbeat. Three words rise from it: Gently, Merrily, Dream. This card reminds us that the journey is not about speed or shortcuts—it’s about pacing ourselves with gentleness, like a gondola gliding through Venice rather than a motorboat tearing ahead. Along the way, we are called to notice the merrily—to savor small joys, unexpected discoveries, and the quiet beauty of the present moment. And always, we must keep our boat facing our dream, letting slow but steady progress carry us toward it. The Six of Swords teaches that when we trust the process, we not only reach the destination, but gather wisdom and delight along the way. Reflection Where in your life are you rushing toward an outcome instead of rowing gently toward your dream? Today, take a moment to slow down, find one small joy to celebrate, and remind yourself that steady movement in the right direction is enough. If you feel called, share your own card pull for the day—or simply share the inspiration that you received from this post.

I didn’t pull one today but I can describe how the 6 of swords applies to me. I want to learn and understand many different topics and I’m impatient to know more now. Lol I should stop and smell the roses and realize it’s a not a marathon not a sprint.
Discussion Post for The Empress – Tarot Compendium
The Empress is the archetype of nurture, creativity, and walking with intention. She reminds us that what we plant with our energy will grow, and when we align ourselves with the flow of the universe, the road itself rises to meet us. Let’s reflect together: - How do you connect with the Empress — as mother, creator, guide, or something else? - Has she shown up for you as a reminder to walk with intention, or as the reversed warning that you may be forcing a path before it’s ready? - What nuances does your favorite deck bring to her image — the fertile fields, the crown of stars, the Venus symbol, or other details? This discussion is part of the Tarot Compendium course. The Compendium is free, but it unlocks at Level 3 through activity in the community. Keep posting, commenting, and engaging — you’ll level up naturally and gain access as you grow.

Discussion: Last Quarter — Cut, Clear, Conclude
The Last Quarter Moon hangs in balance — half light, half shadow. This is a Moon of endings, boundaries, and sacred closures. Her power is sharp, decisive, and direct. If the Waning Gibbous began the process of release, the Last Quarter is where you make the cut, clear the clutter, and say with certainty: this is finished. This is the Moon of courage and clarity. It teaches us that not everything can be carried forward — some ties must be severed, some cycles concluded, some habits ended so that growth can continue. Endings are not failures; they are the space-makers for what comes next. For this module, reflect: - What ties or patterns are you ready to cut away? - Where do you need to set boundaries or say “no” in order to protect your energy? - What chapter in your life is calling for a clear and intentional conclusion? Share your thoughts below. Your reflections on closure may help another witch find the strength to honor their own endings. This is a discussion post for The Power of the Moon Phases, Module Nine. The moon look as if she is cut in half. She reminds me of a liminal space. Not all dark and not all light. She is gray just like all magic and nature. For me this is a good time for practices like astral projection, lucid dreaming or shamanic journeying or a path working. I know that this is not what you have listed above but I’m writing this from an intuitive perspective.

Discussion: Lunar Eclipse — The Shadowed Moon
A lunar eclipse is no ordinary Full Moon. It is disruption, transformation, and intensity all at once. The Moon wears Earth’s shadow, glowing red or fading into darkness, and in that moment, it holds the energy of every phase — the power of the New and the Full combined. This is wild magic: patterns shatter, cycles reset, truths rise up that can no longer be ignored. Some witches avoid spellwork during eclipses, treating them as nights for silence, prayer, and observation. Others harness the storm carefully, using it for shadow work, deep release, or radical transformation. Both paths are valid. For this module, reflect: - What in your life feels disrupted right now, and how might that disruption be carrying you toward transformation? - Do you feel called to harness this chaotic energy, or to sit with it in meditation and reverence? - If you imagine the eclipse holding all phases in one night — what beginning, what completion, and what release does this moment invite for you? Share your reflections below. Your way of meeting this powerful Moon may inspire someone else to rethink how they walk through disruption. This is a discussion post for The Power of the Moon Phases, Module Seven. The course is locked to Level 2. The only thing that feels disrupted is my health issues. But I need to understand that healing states time and I’m I patient to want my former old state back. So I need to be accepting and tap into my creativity to find new ways of being active and new healing modalities. I have been working with a new form of healing magic. So my health issue is giving an opportunity to learn and start new practices. Ok regarding eclipses, I guess I go both ways. It would depend on what was happening in my life personally at the time of the eclipse. I would listen to my intuition and my body to see my energy levels and decide if I’m resting or casting to my heart’s content.
