Discussion: Lunar Eclipse — The Shadowed Moon
A lunar eclipse is no ordinary Full Moon. It is disruption, transformation, and intensity all at once. The Moon wears Earth’s shadow, glowing red or fading into darkness, and in that moment, it holds the energy of every phase — the power of the New and the Full combined.
This is wild magic: patterns shatter, cycles reset, truths rise up that can no longer be ignored. Some witches avoid spellwork during eclipses, treating them as nights for silence, prayer, and observation. Others harness the storm carefully, using it for shadow work, deep release, or radical transformation. Both paths are valid.
For this module, reflect:
- What in your life feels disrupted right now, and how might that disruption be carrying you toward transformation?
- Do you feel called to harness this chaotic energy, or to sit with it in meditation and reverence?
- If you imagine the eclipse holding all phases in one night — what beginning, what completion, and what release does this moment invite for you?
