Workout Questions
Happy Tuesday all! 🌻 I am working on our first workout and am hoping that you could answer a few questions for me. 1. What are you currently doing for your workouts (nothing is fine if you haven’t yet started). 2. Do you have access to heavy weights? 3. What are your fitness goals (weight loss, changing body composition, decreasing perimenopausal symptoms, muscle/bone health)? Thank you and have an awesome day. 😀

Here’s my workout situation: 1-currently doing a combo of weights in the gym, paddle surf training, yoga and a self defense class 2-I have weights at home and gym access 3–weight loss would be good or at least to see some movement on the scale (cause nothing is moving!) continue to build strength to increase endurance and avoid injury. I also have a goal to be extremely difficult to kidnap, or to be able to feel confident enough to physically interfere in a situation where a person needs help in an emergency

@April Moor weight wise I try to do full body or upper/lower body. When I was following a program it was much more structured. Now I’m just doing whatever (I need the structure lol I can’t wait for monthly workouts). I am lifting heavy- reps to failure or grip failure (I need to either upgrade my gloves or get grips). I’ll send you info for macros! I feel like I do well with structure but it needs to be flexible. I for some reason nail the workout but miss on the food or vice versa. It also depends on my capacity, so tips to hit your macros in less than ideal situations are always welcome. I was following a program and the mentality really emphasized “everyone has the same 24hrs” and I kept pointing out that statements like that are just inaccurate but it was difficult for coaches to acknowledge and adjust for that nuance, which ultimately was a factor in deciding to step away from that.
