Something I'm proud of
Hi everyone. Happy Friday! I hardly ever take the time to remind myself of all that has been accomplished during the week...so I'm taking a moment now. I took care of my mom for 42 hours this week. I built a nurture sequence and a landing page for an in-person somatic series I'm promoting. I saw 18 clients. I nurtured the seeds and perennials in my garden. I took care of my cat and dog. I ate well. I had some friend time. I went roller skating. I got enough sleep.... Yay. So many things have been done and I still have energy for today. What has your week looked like? Is there something you are proud of yourself for recently?

What am amazing week. Love your reflections. My week: I saw 16 clients and 4 Supervisee’s I planted my tomato plants and watered them. I watered my flowers on the front doorstep too. I changed the bed. Walked the dogs. Meditated and made decisions around my skool community. Had supervision myself and learned more about the EMDR process Got invited to a wedding by a client which sadly I can’t go to because of counselling rules. (Which I understand) Visited a gym for a look around Bought a new car with my husband to replace his Got my car fixed in the garage Fed myself and my husband with good food Looked after my home and did laundry. Ordered food shopping for my mother in law. Prepared a Sunday school Lesson. Wow. What an amazing week I had too!

@Soraya Butterworth what a great list! Love your honesty and candidness 🤗 When you rebranded your community did you just rename it or delete and start afresh?
1 Win & 1 Goal
Hey everyone...how was your weekend? What is one win for the weekend? What is one goal you have for the week? These things are important to tabulate, imo, if only to keep us going when the going gets weird.

@Christopher Whitehead-Baines sorry I meant private practice
Emotional Battery
A metaphor that resonates with many clients is the idea of emotional capacity functioning like a battery. Every responsibility, stressor, and emotional demand draws from that battery. When it becomes depleted, tasks that once felt manageable suddenly feel overwhelming. Reframing exhaustion as capacity depletion rather than laziness can shift clients from self-criticism toward self-compassion. Curious how other clinicians explain emotional capacity to clients. ℹ️ Educational purposes only. Not a substitute for therapy or professional mental health care.

Balancing Priorities-How do you moment-to-moment?
How I keep myself going. I am currently juggling a lot. I am caregiving a parent (for the past year, with the help of my 3 siblings). I am paring down my private practice but keeping it going. Referrals, billing, client services. I am building an online and in-person coaching business and I have my first 1:1 coaching client...high ticket, intensive training. I am so psyched! The work I've done to make this pivot over the past three years is starting to take shape. My new client starts tomorrow. We'll see how their transformation comes around in about 5 weeks. I am building two online Skool communities...this one and one called The Spiral Reset Lab where all the materials from my teacher and mentor, Dr. Liana Mattulich are housed. When I am pushed or pulled by life, and I am every day as we all are, I swear...every time I need a somatic practice my body intuition says "hey. hello. go. go outside. go move your body." And I am getting so much better at listening, moment-to-moment. When I'm sitting with a client and I feel the pull I do my best to regulate that pull to stay with them in the session, breathing, moment to moment awareness, staying present with what is. How do you ... moment-to-moment?

That sounds exciting with your first coaching client!! I am on a journey to really become my authentic self. This requires a lot of tuning into my intuition and I try to feel it moment by moment so I can follow the path that is my true path. It’s so hard though because life and other peoples stuff gets in the way! 😂 I think maybe though, that’s part of the dance, focus, pivot and return. Over and over!
