A Fresh Comeback: Restarting My Discipline Journey
After a long break, I’m finally back. I used to post daily and share my routine, but I took a gap for about a month. During Ramadan, my schedule was very busy ,yet I stayed consistent with my daily journaling and posts. After Ramadan, Eid celebrations and my brother’s wedding kept me occupied, so I couldn’t continue. Honestly, I also became a little lazy, but I don’t want to stay that way. I’ve realized how much daily posting and journaling helped me stay disciplined and accountable. It actually surprised me how consistent and focused I was during Ramadan. Now, I’m not as disciplined as I was before, but I haven’t given up. I want to get back on track and rebuild my routine. Life has ups and downs, but what matters is that we stand up again every time we fall. So here I am, starting again. InshaAllah, I will stay consistent, disciplined, and focused on doing things that will benefit my future.

Daily journal Day # 39 after long break
Night Time: Yesterday, my routine was very busy. I had a lot of work to complete, and I managed to finish most of it. However, I still had some work left. I slept late, around 2–3 a.m., and then woke up at 5 a.m. After that, I went back to sleep again. Morning Time: I finally woke up at around 1–2 p.m. I freshened up and had my breakfast at 2 p.m. Even though the start of my day was late, I tried to stay productive. Study Time: After breakfast, I started studying. I studied from around 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. with focus. After that, I took some rest and later attended another lecture to continue my learning. Dinner Time: I had my dinner at 8 p.m. After dinner, I went for a short walk of about 10 minutes, which helped me relax. Evening Activities: Later, I recited some religious duas and Durud Sharif. After that, I spent some time on Instagram and talked with my sister. However, I feel like I wasted a lot of time on unnecessary activities. Reflection: Looking back, I realize that I have developed some bad habits, especially wasting time on things that are not beneficial. I want to improve my discipline and build a better routine. I know it is difficult, and sometimes routines get disturbed, but I am determined to stay disciplined for a long time, Inshallah. Goals for the next day: After a long break, I will restart my routine with full focus. I will sleep on time and wake up early with only 7 hours of sleep. I will avoid laziness and start my day actively. I will study with full concentration and improve my reading habit. I will complete my tasks and watch Community Classroom videos. I will post my daily journal and stay consistent.

Later Read and learn Surah Al-Qadr with translation Watched a furqan Qureshi blogs Reflection & Intention for the Next Day Now that the second Ashra of Ramadan has ended, the last Ashra is about to begin. These last ten nights are very special because Laylatul Qadr can be in any of these nights. During these nights, I want to focus more on worship and connection with Allah. My goal is to: Increase my ibadah Make more duas Recite and understand the Quran Spend the nights in meaningful worship Because of this, I might be less active in the community and I might not watch class videos regularly, but I will try to manage them when possible. These nights are extremely valuable. They should not be wasted in laziness or unnecessary activities. The more effort we put into these nights, the more benefit we gain for ourselves and for our hereafter. Top Priorities Watch class videos Recite Durood Shareef Memorize one Surah from the Quran Read Quran daily Do Journal Writing Make duas regularly Things to avoid Avoid wasting time unnecessarily on the phone Do not be lazy in the nights of Laylatul Qadr Avoid distractions that reduce focus on Ibadah

Start with small steps that feel easy for you. I also had the same problem, but I solved it in a simple way. I decided to give some time every day. Even if I watch only half of a video, I still watch it. I also give some time to the community daily, even if it is just 10 minutes. The important thing is to make a habit of doing it every day. In sha Allah you will become consistent with time.
