Scripture Reveal
Through Jeremiah, God speaks some of the most tender words in Scripture: ”I have loved you with an everlasting love: ”I have drawn you with unfailing kindness. ”(Jeremiah 31:3) Notice the personal nature of this love -its not just a general benevolence toward creation but a specific, intentional love for His people. This same personal love reaches into our lives today, meeting us in our particular circumstances and needs.

- God is speaking to Israel during a time of pain, loss, and exile. - The people felt forgotten, disciplined, and distant from God. - This verse is a promise of restoration, not condemnation. - It reminds them—and us—that God’s love did not stop because circumstances were hard. Review Note: God often speaks His most tender promises in seasons of hardship, not comfort. II. “I Have Loved You” – A Personal Love - God speaks in the first person (“I”) and directly (“you”). - This is not a vague love for humanity—it is specific and intentional. - God knows His people individually, not just collectively. Review Note: God’s love is personal. You are not overlooked or anonymous to Him. III. “With an Everlasting Love” – A Love That Endures - “Everlasting” means without beginning or end. - God’s love is not based on performance, obedience, or perfection. - It outlasts failure, sin, distance, and doubt. Review Note: Human love can change; God’s love remains constant. IV. “I Have Drawn You” – God Initiates Relationship - God is the one who pursues, invites, and draws us close. - We don’t have to earn His attention—He moves toward us first. - Even when we wander, God gently calls us back. Review Note: Your desire for God often begins because God first reached for you. V. “With Unfailing Kindness” – Gentle, Steady Love - God’s kindness is faithful, patient, and consistent. - He does not pull us with fear or force, but with compassion. - His correction is wrapped in care, not rejection. Review Note: God’s kindness is not weakness—it’s intentional love at work. VI. Application for Today - God’s love meets us in our current circumstances. - This promise applies to grief, confusion, growth, and healing. - We can trust that God’s love is present, personal, and purposeful. Final Reflection: No matter where you are in life, God’s everlasting love is actively drawing you with kindness—right now.
Week 2 God's Love(2026)
This week, as we ponder what it means to be loved by God, let’s remember that this truth isn’t meant to remain theoretical. John reminds us that “we have because He first loved us” 1 John 3:1) God’s love should transform how we view ourselves, how we treat others, and how we approach life’s challenges. When we truly begin to grasp that we are deeply loved by the Creator of the universe, it changes everything -our identity, our purpose , and our response to body blessings and difficulties.

Core Truths from 1 John 3:1 - A Gift of Identity: God's love is the basis for us to be called, and truly to be, His children. This is a privilege not earned by human effort, but a pure gift of grace that changes our spiritual parentage and nature. - Security and Certainty: Recognizing oneself as a dearly loved child of God fosters a deep sense of security and humility, free from feelings of inferiority or superiority. This assures us that nothing can separate us from God's love (Romans 8:38-39). - A Transformative Force: This divine love is not merely an abstract idea but a dynamic force. It is meant to transform us from the inside out, empowering us to become more like Christ. As we fix our hope on Jesus, we are motivated to purify ourselves, just as He is pure (1 John 3:3). - Conflict with the World: The world often does not recognize God's children because it did not recognize Him (Jesus). Believers should not be surprised if they seem foreign or are treated differently by a world that operates on different values. - Call to Action: The love we receive from God is meant to overflow into our relationships with others. We are called to love one another not just in word, but in deed and truth (1 John 3:18), demonstrating God's love to the watching world.
Daily Scripture for reflection
Romans 5:8 8 But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

Hello, How are you doing today? No — really… how are you feeling? Are you carrying something no one else knows about?Have you created space to simply be still? I want to remind you of this: you don’t have to struggle alone. God is always with you. The Holy Spirit speaks in quiet places — and without stillness, it becomes hard to hear the Father’s voice. So often, we struggle not because He isn’t speaking, but because the noise of the world has grown louder than His whisper. He isn’t loud or forceful. He whispers. And He invites us to cast all our burdens on Him so He can lighten our load. But if we never pause… if we never quiet the noise… how can we hear Him? How can He carry what we never release? Before you start your day — before the phone, the conversations, the distractions — pause. Sit in the silence. Not asking. Not rushing.Just allowing God to speak to you. We give so much of our time to everyone else, yet often overlook the One who orders our steps. Make a commitment this year to begin your day with Him — and allow Him to lighten your load and direct your path. Don’t just hear about Him. Try Him. With care, Donshea I'm Here for you if you ever need someone to reach out to.
