Blue Zone Project
Have you heard of Blue Zones? Fascinating research and model of health and longevity. If you live in/near Allentown there’s a local BZP working to improve the health of our community. They offer a free group workout on Tuesday afternoon that I’ve been attending. There’s a few 70+ ladies there. Today we did multiple rounds of wall sits. And squats. And lunges. They inspire me. I used to want to be younger, skinnier. Now, at 55, I want to be stronger as I age. So I can still do wall sits in my 70s. I’ll drop a link below to BZP Allentown. If you have questions, lmk. Alright, finally got around to posting in this! usually I’m pretty good at keeping up with updates, but lately, not so much! Anyways — I’m Stephanie, living in Coatesville, PA. I have a 6 yr old little boy, almost 7! And a little girl on the way, due in December on my son’s birthday. (Nope, we didn’t plan that! lol ) My health and fitness journey has been all over the place my entire life. But, in the last handful of years I’ve finally been able to take control and figure out what works for me. Come the new year, I plan to get back into my routine of heavy lifting and getting back to where I was this time last year!

Take your time after baby is born. I wanted so badly to jump back but I'm glad i took my time. 6 months out and I'm still modifying. Walking will be your best friend! So proud of you for staying on track through your pregnancy. It's easier said than done.

I've been leaving my watch off on my walks because i don't want a watch tan for my wedding. 🙃 next month, I'll be back to tracking my walks too.
