Leg Burner Tuesday
Today was 25 min Speed Train W1D1 Lower Body. And let's just say my lower body is toast. It felt good to let some of my stress out with my workout this morning. Since my workout was only 25 minutes, I laid back in bed for 30 mins before I showered and took Zoey for a walk. But Zoey got into bed with me and we cuddled. Zoey and I got a 30 minute walk in this morning. She is a happy pup. And I am just going to be one sore human being tomorrow 🤣. I am looking forward to a recovery day tomorrow with Amoila.

Monday Blues...yet morning highs
I dreaded my alarm going off this morning. It meant the start of another week at a place that makes me feel depressed. But I got up and pressed play. I pressed play on DD C1 Upper Body Circuit I. For the first time, I did all 48 reps of tricep dips, so I will take that as a win. Washing my hair this morning though was a struggle. I also got some dishes done and the trash out. Zoey and I even went for a walk around the neighborhood when it got light enough. While I know I have had a successful morning, I dread making my journey into work.

@Christa Held Thanks! I've been trying to go on a few 15-20 minute walks to clear my head, give myself a break from the screen, and just get some fresh air. That helps a little bit until I have to deal with "team" members who don't want to work as a team.

@Amanda Steele 🤣 may be I should wear my Team Bowerful shirt tomorrow! Actually, that might be the only thing I own with pink, so I'll save that for Wednesday. Yes! I am really trying to live in the moment, leave work behind at work, and enjoy my time with my precious girl.

This week was mostly about resting. I was not feeling well most of it. Tuesday I did get a Pilates workout in but it left me so sore that today was just some restorative flow. Dutchess and I were channeling out inner calm.

Saturday morning walk 🐕
It felt really good to sleep in the morning, but also to wake up knowing I didn't have to dread going into work. Instead, I got up, showered, ate breakfast, and took Zoey to a nearby park for a walk. We haven't done this in a long while. But I'm done letting the bad days at work ruin my weekends. Zoey was happy to get out for a decent walk. I wanted to take her somewhere new, but since I woke up later than planned and we have storms in the forecast, I didn't want to get caught in the storms. Either way, Zoey is a tired pup and I am feeling pretty good for getting out for some movement.
