Post a picture or video of your week 1 process. Week 2- fill your container with potting soil. Sprinkle your seeds lightly on top/ read seed packet teaches us how to learn and follow seeding directions. Then cover lightly with more soil. Lastly water gently. @Carmen Agosto-Cruz yay!
Zone 8
In zone 8 things are just starting to wake up, buds are swelling, soil is getting softer the light is stretching a little longer each day! and maybe you to (wink) This is your reminder that you don't need to rush just because the season is changing! for you is time to prep raised beds, pots etc. Direct sow cool season seeds and plan tomatoes and cucumbers, but is also time to rest, breathe, move slowly and be present!!

Growing Peace
Sometimes we come to the garden overwhelmed, sometimes we come tired. Sometimes we come carrying things we dont even have words for... and the soil holds it all!! When you: 🐛Put your hands in the dirt 🥀 Water something living 🌻Watch a seed push through 💖Sit quietly under a tree Your nervous system settles, your breathing slows down, your mind softens, you dont have to be okay to show up here. I created this space for gathering, growing, flourishing even on the hard days. Drop a comment below to share how you feeling today? WE ARE IN THIS TOGETHER!!

Smart Tip!
Drying plants upright: if you’re plants wilt when you try to dry them upright position, try this instead. Stretch some course netting or wire over the vase top to hold the stems in place. Add an inch of water to the bottom. Set the vase and plants in the drying area and let the water evaporate .The plants will dry more slowly than they would without water, but they will retain a fresher ,fuller appearance. Flowers I use myself for this method: Floss flower Bells of Ireland Baby’s breath Yarrow Hope you try it!!
