Supplier Quality Concerns: Looking for Suggestions
Hello everyone, I hope you’re doing well! I would love to get your advice on a situation I’m currently facing with my product. My product is made of wood, and although I’ve received some 5-star reviews, I’ve also noticed a high number of returns. Recently, I even received a bad review and was reported for violating one of my bullet points, since the product did not meet the standards expected by the customer. This is especially worrying because the quality of my current inventory does not match the samples I had ordered twice before (which were great). Now, I need to prepare for a new inventory replenishment, but I’m not comfortable continuing with this supplier if the quality isn’t consistent. 👉 My question is: Is it advisable to look for a new supplier at this stage, or is there a better way to manage this situation? Any help, advice, or suggestions from your experience would mean a lot. Thank you! 🙏

@Trevin Peterson thank you and how about the average return? What is a good one and a bad one?

@Kaming Lai Thank you for your detailed explanation. I would like to ask also if there is any possibility of requesting a refund or partial refund from the supplier in this situation. Out of 174 units sold, we have already had 30 returns, which is quite disappointing. Are cases like this typically eligible for compensation from the supplier? Additionally, could Amazon potentially flag this listing due to the higher-than-average return rate and negative customer experience (NCX)? If so, how could this impact the listing, and are there any preventive measures I should take? Lastly, could you please advise me on what steps I should take right now to best protect my account and minimize the risk of the listing being flagged or suppressed? Thank you for your guidance.
PPC cost advice and boost for more sales
Hi guys, happy to be here! After 1 year of dealing with suppliers, I finally managed to launch my first product. It’s been live for 3 weeks now. Sales are coming in slowly and I’m struggling to balance PPC spend (very high ACOS) with keeping visibility. When I reduce bids, visibility drops and sales slow down — how do you usually handle this in the early stages of a launch? Any advice would mean a lot Just to give more context: - 3 weeks into the launch - Started at $39.99 with a $5 coupon, recently lowered to $37.99 with a $5 coupon - So far sold 60 units - 2 reviews with 5 stars - From launch until today ACOS is around 76% - In the first 2 weeks alone, PPC spend was about $885 I’ve tried reducing bids, but every time I do, visibility drops and sales slow down. I’d really appreciate suggestions on how to optimize PPC without losing momentum and also to increase sales.
