🎉 New Partner Perk!
Great news — we’ve teamed up with Viral Audio, the creators of Ascent (a library I use and love) and the brand-new Descent hybrid trailer toolkit. 👉 Members of the Audio Artist Academy now get 10% off all Viral Audio products. Here’s how it works: Our community has a level system based on your activity. - Level 1 = when you join - Level 2 = after you’ve contributed a bit (posting, commenting, engaging with others) - Higher levels unlock even more resources and perks 🔓 The special partner post (with the discount code + referral link) is available once you reach Level 2 or higher. So if you’re not there yet, jump into the discussions, share your progress, or comment on posts — and you’ll unlock it in no time! 🚀 ... and please, no spam!

@Alex Pfeffer Haha yeah, no worries! They had the intro price at least, so it was still a no brainer. Thank you for the gesture!
Spitfire Symphony Orchestra - is it good enough?
Hello everyone. Although I already own some good orchestral libraries, I'm wondering if you consider Spitfire Symphony Orchestra good enough to expand my collection. I think the current offer is more than good and the question is whether there will be more opportunities like this (although I have the impression that in the future many libraries will be cheaper, as if some new phase with Splice is coming), but the whole bundle together with Symphonic Extras and Originals Intimate Grand Piano costs me 234€. Cheaper than getting Symphony Orchestra at the 50% discount on the entire cart that is currently active. I'm especially interested in the opinions of those who may own the library and have actively worked on a project with it. Thanks everyone in advance.

Interested of this topic too. I just took the bbcso pro deal via splice last week and today pulled the trigger for ssts pro. SSO has also been on my radar for some time, but I really dont need all of the range, only might have a need for the strings section. Oh, did I also got the Albion NEO, but that is for other use cases in my template. For epic size strings I also have eg. HZS and MA’s.

I have now used less than a week the bbcso and mainly I am a fan of its strings section - the rest not so much (just for my taste). Planning on getting Abbey Road One collection and cancelling the bbcso splice suscription. Let see...
Piano Libraries
What are everyone's favourites grand/ baby-grand piano libraries, for epic concert pieces, for soft intimate drama cues, or for emotional romantic JRPG cues ? I'm wondering if anything (they can of course be different libraries)

Chroma Grand from Sonuscore, my goto. Can go from soft to loud, with sound design too.
New Headphones 🎧
I talked with my brother he's a professional producer and these are the headphones he recommends to me and I did some research did some comparisons but I still am not sure what to go for. I want to have headphones that are clean for mixing and mastering and that they're dynamic, that's the most important point. And of course comfort and quality. Unfortunately I don't have a budget for sennheiser, 300 bucks is just way too much but I could go for around 150 bucks. It would be great if you guys could help me find the perfect headphones for me🫶🏼

Big-Tight Drums?
Hi All, I was wondering what your favorite Cinematic Drums are? I'm looking for something with big petals particularly. I have Damage 1&2, I just picked up Ferrum Free addition, I'm looking for something along those lines. Thank you all!

Hard to list my absolute favourites, depends on the mix and style, but here is some that I have if that helps in any way for listing potential perc libraries: 1. Audio Imperia: Cerberus/Jaeger/Nucleus/Artifact Reanimate, 2. AVA: Eminence/Instinct/Decadence, 3. Cinesamples: Drums of War 1+2, 4. Heavyocity: Damage 1+2/MS Ensembles/Gravity series, 5. Orchestral Tools: Metropolis Arks series (especially I like 1 and 3 for percussions), 6. Laboratory Audio: Strikeforce 1+2, 7. Keepforest: Devastator Evolution and Aizerx series + Ferrum (have them all, especially Breakout is solid and Warzone/Evolution for e.g. trailer drums ), 8. Sample Logic: Trailer Xpression series, 9. Cinematic Tools: Tommee Profitt Percussion/Zenith 10. Spitfire Audio: Albion series/Hammers/Hans Zimmer Percussion + Professional 11. 8Dio/Soundpaint catalogs: lots of epic/trailer/hybrid stuff 12. Project Sam: S4 Pandora - (it is gorgeus, but gonna sell it due to lack of use)

@Laurent Levante I had my eye on the Monolith because of the OT summer sale until the end of July - do you think it is somewhat special that no other library has? :)
