@Travis Devin Checking out your soundcloud now.Really cool. I like your Pop sensibility. The Cold Night Draws Near is really cool & I could see it being used in a few different applications. Keep up the great work & I look forward to hearing more of your music!

@Michael Moses It sounds like you're making the right move. I performed live for 30 years, I still play out, but lugging my twin reverb & a Leslie speaker is a young man's game. It's great that you're getting more in touch with what you want to be doing. Keep at it, if we swing the bat enough times we're bound to eventually hit one out of the park after all right?

@Andre Marechal Nice one Andre, I've been working a little more on my slide playing lately too!
Free Libraries!
Hi everyone, As we all know sample libraries are better than they've ever been. I just thought I'd start this thread & ask/share what are your favorite free libraries out there?

@Andrew Hand Have you tried any of the Crow Hill stuff? They have some freebies too!

@Cedric Sourd Nice one Cedric. Thanks for sharing!
Do DAWs sound different?
I've seen the question "Which DAW should I use?" asked here several times. Hopefully the video below will help to make people's decisions a little easier.

@Geoffrey Schumann Is Reason still in re-wire these days or is it a stand alone DAW?

@Geoffrey Schumann I had Reason a million years ago. I ended up losing all of my libraries a few times since, but I remember using it in re-wire with Logic & it was great.
Spitfire Symphony Orchestra - is it good enough?
Hello everyone. Although I already own some good orchestral libraries, I'm wondering if you consider Spitfire Symphony Orchestra good enough to expand my collection. I think the current offer is more than good and the question is whether there will be more opportunities like this (although I have the impression that in the future many libraries will be cheaper, as if some new phase with Splice is coming), but the whole bundle together with Symphonic Extras and Originals Intimate Grand Piano costs me 234€. Cheaper than getting Symphony Orchestra at the 50% discount on the entire cart that is currently active. I'm especially interested in the opinions of those who may own the library and have actively worked on a project with it. Thanks everyone in advance.

@Dominik Å krabal My favorite library by SF is the chamber strings. Now with the Air Reverb you can blend more than ever.

@Dominik Å krabal It's just so versatile. I'm able to blend it with most of my other libraries. I had the standard version & upgraded to pro when they updated it. pro has more mic positions like stereo mixes. I'd rather have it & not need it than need it & not have it....Also, their Appassionata Strings are really great for legato passages. It's more expensive & harder on my CPU though.
