Help! Anyone assist, front footwell no coms cars stuck on driveway windows down and no coms, all I did was disconnect and reconnect the battery to put the windows back up after stripping down the chain for a camshaft exhaust fault code. Thought best I take off the battery but forgot to put the windows back up. Sent it to a company to be flashed and it’s been returned but it’s still no coms.

Needs the eeprom repaired Sure the plug ain't water damaged seen it a lot on the minis... If you need help repairing the unit you can post it to me

There's also a option in the Diag to reset the shorts etc worth a try

Scan tool recommendations

Hi, I’m setting up on my own as a mobile diagnostics/auto electrical specialist and I’m looking to invest in a decent scan tool. I’ll mainly be doing diagnostics, coding, programming, service functions and as much OE-level stuff as possible. I’ve been looking at Topdon, Launch, Thinkcar and the Hella S20 If you could only buy one scan tool today, what would you go for and why? Any regrets with what you’ve got, or anything you’d avoid? Autel and launch You'll find think car top don all share the same platform as launch but as time goes and you build your arsenal it will mainly be dealer tools
