Is it Autism or Mitochondrial Dysfunction?
Did you know that mitochondria affect almost every system in the body? Mitochondria are responsible for producing cellular energy, so when they aren’t functioning properly, the brain, muscles, gut, and immune system are affected. Some symptoms of mitochondrial dysfunction can include: - Fatigue - Low muscle tone (hypotonia) - Developmental regression after infections - Delayed speech - Clumsiness or poor coordination - Brain fog or fluctuating cognitive function - GI problems like constipation, reflux, bloating etc - Frequent illnesses - Sensory sensitivities (sound, light, textures, temperature) - Seizures in some cases The good news is you can improve mitochondrial function by incorporating healthy habits. SLEEP - Maintain healthy circadian rhythm by having consistent sleep and wake times. - Sunlight and red light exposure boosts the mitochondria and enables healing on a cellular level. - Reduce blue light exposure at least 2 hours before going to bed. NUTRITION - Having a balanced diet containing an ample portion of protein and rainbow foods also supports the mitochondria. - Other foods commonly associated with mitochondrial support include: * Oily fish * Eggs * Leafy greens * Berries * Olive oil (for drizzling) * Nuts and seeds * Beans and lentils SUPPLEMENTS - Coenzyme Q10 - Phospholipids - Acetyl-L-carnitine - Magnesium Malate - Vitamin B complex When selecting a supplement, It is best to take advice from your practitioner. Poll for call timings
Hi All, as our group grows I would like to see more of you in our weekly check ins. Or if that is overwhelming we can switch back to fortnightly calls too and I can add more video content you can watch in your own time. Please fill out the poll so I can understand the needs of the group better.

Will there be a live session today?
Updates & New Q&A times for Summer
Hi guys, I was given feedback by some UK moms who are missing out on Friday times. I am going to move our Q&A to Mondays 12 pm Eastern Standard Time. So we will be meeting on Monday instead of today so more of you can join ! Also some exciting updates ! - I am delighted to share that I have completed my Clinical Training in Organic Acid Testing directly from Mosaic. This has become the foundation of my 90 Day Program that some of you are enrolled in ! - I am also excited to share that we are offering Nutrition Reviews (under our Clinical Nutritionist - Noor) and an Integrative Health Review (by the Medical Doctor in our team - Dr Haya) as part of my 90 Day Program. We may be over delivering right now with so much value packed in one program for a low cost but I really wanted to build this as something different ! Cant wait to see you all on Monday !
