America 250 paperbacks!
Well, everyone, I had an extremely difficult and frustrating week trying to get Amazon Seller Central to list my beautiful offset printed paperback. It ended in me pulling the listing and creating a KDP paperback edition, which will satisfy some of the demand coming from Amazon (and there's a lot. I'm still first in Children's Songbooks although my book is no longer free, and 12th in the entire Explore the USA category). 😁 For those who wish to order my book, I've provided a link to my website, where my boutique offset printed edition is listed. 📖 Shipping is $4, arriving after the 4th at this point. https://illustrationsbyacb.com/products/my-country-tis-of-thee-paperback-childrens-book?variant=46550270247073
Home From Washington, DC — Resting, Regrouping, and So Grateful
Hi friends, I wanted to give a little update on where I have been these past few days. I just returned from Washington, DC, where I had the opportunity to share my newest Bright Little Pages book, America: 250 Years of Miracles, at the Faith & Freedom Coalition’s Road to Majority event. It was such an honor to be there and to meet so many wonderful people who were excited about wholesome books for children and families. I am home now and taking a little time to rest, regroup, and get organized before jumping back into the next season of Bright Little Pages. I am so thankful for all the encouragement, prayers, purchases, and support along the way. It means more than I can say. If you would like to take a look at the new book or purchase a copy, here is the link: https://brightlittlepages.com/products/pre-order-america-250-years-of-miracles?utm_source=copyToPasteBoard&utm_medium=product-links&utm_content=web Thank you again for cheering me on. I am excited to keep creating meaningful books for children and families.

Wonderful!
Amazon proof copy disappointment
I just received a proof of my book from Amazon and I was disappointed with the colour reproduction. The colours are desaturated and cooler than the originals. When I look at the files in RGB it looks great but CMYK not so much. My illustrations are watercolour and ink, anybody else have a similar experience?

@Ezio Molinari That's a wonderful theme and very timely. Parents are concerned about kids developing suitable independence. I would love to give you a review once you launch. Can you possibly find a bulk printer in Canada? My book is dedicated to America's 250th celebration. It is an illustrated edition of an old patriotic song with joyful child characters.

@Shelly Stewart I'm rubbing my eyes in disbelief. I'm 178th this morning.

We’re having a heatwave in the UK at the moment, and I’m really struggling with the extreme weather. My brain is melting right now! 🥵 I’m curious — are you experiencing this extreme heat as well? 🔥

I live in Virginia... it is late in June... yes. But not as bad as 35 C. 30 for sure.

@Paulette Ng I certainly wasn't accusing you of being dramatic! I understand the discomfort and disruption. We lost electricity in summer storms several times growing up. It was miserable. I know England does not experience that kind of heat on a regular basis and therefore does not need the same infrastructure as the southern United States. So it probably feels in England as it would if all America suddenly had Death-Valley type weather.
