My name is Ainsley Bloomfield. I'm a children's book illustrator who works entirely in ink and watercolor. I have written two of my books, "The Story of Marlin, the Cat" and "Greycat's Alphabet" as well. I'm excited to learn marketing techniques that will enable me to leave my job and go full-time with my artwork. In addition to children's book illustration, I have a fairly successful local card and print business, but my website that I used to support it crashed over Christmas, and I have not focused on rebuilding it yet because I have a book coming out for America 250. The last few months have been quite an adventure for me and have seen my creativity and endurance pushed to the limit, as well as helping me decide what is and isn't important for the future. For those who have published a children's book on Amazon KDP, how many pages did you write? I'm looking for some ideas. I was told that most children's books on Amazon KDP are around 24–40 pages, depending on the story and illustrations.
