@Sheldon Evans I have a couple of trees that the old owners planted that I would love to move but they are too big now. They are waaay too close to the house. Not sure what they were thinking, really. And one of them is a Bradford Pear - highly invasive and fast-growing down here and when you cut them down they throw out underground runners all around the trunk through the dirt and pop up all over. PLUS the main trunk grows hundreds of branches to over-compensate for what was cut off. It's ridiculous. We first tried to just cut the branches that were rubbing up against the house, but the tree grows so fast that we had to do that every year. So I cut it down because it is only about 8 feet away from the house and it was 20-25 feet tall. Now I'm dealing with the invasion aftermath! Haha.

@Sheldon Evans Yeah, ya gotta admire it's tenacity though! And I love the idea of a bear climbing that tree for apples. Although not so much in the yard so close to the "people areas". haha. We have lots of bears in this area, but fortunately I haven't had to deal with any up close and personal here.

WOW!!! that's incredible. I mean...if I saw that I'd have to crawl in BUT I'd probably get a bit claustrophobic once I realized where I was. But OMG how could I resist?!
