@Donna Conrad that's why I like lemonade😅😅😅
This is becoming the best jade I’ve ever discovered. 🤯💚
Did I just go from a $2K stone to potentially a $10K+ stone? I honestly don’t know yet, but what I’m seeing is getting VERY exciting. The green is that deep, rich color everyone is looking for, and the fractures don’t appear to run throughout the rock like I originally thought. I still have 80+ pounds left to cut and evaluate. The biggest change is that I’ve now cut it into blocks, which makes it much easier to work with and really see what’s going on inside. There’s still a lot to figure out, but WOW… this material just keeps getting better. 💚🪨 What do you think — did I just uncover something seriously special?

🔎The 3-Rock Rule:⛏️
When you find an interesting rock or mineral in the field, it can be tempting to immediately decide what it is. But one specimen doesn't always tell the whole story. Try the 3-Rock Rule: 🪨 Rock #1 — The Find Take a close look at the specimen that caught your attention. Note its color, texture, crystal structure, hardness, and any visible inclusions. 🪨 Rock #2 — The Host Look around the area where you found it. What type of rock is surrounding or hosting the material? The host rock can provide important clues about how your specimen formed. 🪨 Rock #3 — The Float Search nearby for additional pieces of the same material. Compare them. Are they showing the same characteristics? Do they become more abundant or change as you move across the area? 🎯 Why This Works You're not just identifying a rock — you're starting to understand the geological story of the area. One specimen can be misleading. Three related specimens can start showing a pattern. 💡 Prospector's Challenge: Next time you find something interesting, don't stop at the first piece. Find at least three specimens and compare them before making your identification. Sometimes the real clue isn't the rock in your hand… it's what the rocks around it are telling you. 🔎⛰️

I think these steps and tricks should be in a book. I feel for me this has worked extremely well in the field of prospecting.
